Untold Short StoriesSakura was alone in their room as Chaeyeon went to her home. She was about to sleep after listening to the broadcast of Saku No Ki. Just then, she received a message from her roommate.
"Saku-chan, I listened to Saku No Ki!"
The gamer smiled then immediately sent a response.
"Thank you!"
"I should be the one thanking you"
"Why?"
"Because of what you said"
Sakura replied with a heart emoji.
"Are you going to sleep? Can I call you?"
"Sure."
While lying on her bed, Sakura waited for Chaeyeon's call.
"Hello"
"Saku-chan…"
"What?"
"Where are you? Are you playing games?"
Sakura chuckled.
"I was about to sleep when I received your text. I'm already lying in my bed."
"Ah…"
"I'm quite sleepy because I watched "Sweet Home" on Netflix"
"Oh… Should I hang up so you can sleep now?"
"It's okay. We can talk"
Chaeyeon kept calling Sakura's name.
"Saku-chan...Saku-chan...Saku-chan…"
"Yah! What are you doing?"
"Nothing. I'm really touched by what you said. How you put things into words, it amazes me every time. You know I feel the same, right?"
"I know."
"How we met will always be special. The friendship that we've built is really precious to me. And it will forever be. I promise to keep being your friend even after our contract ends."
"Jjaeyeon, the feeling has always been mutual."
Chaeyeon laughed. Sakura did too. They've come to a point where they don't avoid the topic of disbandment anymore. Well, Sakura has mentioned about it several times. It's a sad reality but they always choose to see the positive side.
Earning each other's trust is a strong foundation of a good friendship. Chaeyeon and Sakura will always be grateful every time they look back on how it all started. They both cherish their relationship enough to wish it to be forever.
