You basked under the ethereal light of the sun filtering through the canopy of leaves above you, the wind blowing lightly as the hammock swung you in a gentle rhythm, immersing you in a world of idle dreams.

“Lavender’s blue, dilly, dilly, lavender’s green,” you sang softly as you ran your fingers through Taeyong’s pink hair, easing the candy floss strands away from his face whilst he laid his head on your chest.

He opened his eyes to the afternoon light, revealing those bright eyes you adored immensely, you thought you could swim in their depths forever. He reached up to run his lithe fingers down the side of your face, tucking away the stray tresses of your brown hair behind your ear.

Taeyong broke into a smile then and continued the next line of the song, singing, “When I am king, dilly, dilly, you shall be queen.”
