I pushed myself through Tzuyu and just ran for it. As I was running down the stairs, the rest of the girls in the kitchen looked at me with confused looks. Next thing I knew, I felt a huge force on my body as I fell to the floor with my arms put in a tied position behind my back.

I felt fast footsteps come towards me.

"Tzuyu! What the hell do you think you're doing?!" yelled Chaeyoung who was already fighting with Tzuyu to come off of me.

"She saw the painting!" she yelled back which made Chaeyoung stop pushing her off of me.

She then got me to stand up where I met up the faces of the others looking concerned. I was absolutely terrified at this point. I had so many questions circulating around my head.

"Mina I need you to calm down," Jihyo said as she tried to get closer to me

"Stay away from me!" I shouted aggressively.

"Jihyo just change her emotions," Jeongyeon said

"I am! I'm trying and it's not changing!" Jihyo replied back in frustration

"Look, I don't know why you guys have a painting of yourselves that seems like it was made in the 18th century! But why the hell am I in that?!" I said

"Tzuyu erase her memory," said Jeongyeon

"What?!" I yelled

"I'm not doing that" Tzuyu said sternly

"Jihyo!" yelled Jeongyeon.

"Tzuyu you have to. This wasn't how we planned to reveal it" Jihyo said

After some hesitation, Tzuyu replies, "Fine"

Chaeyoung came towards me and gave me an apologetic look before she took over Tzuyu's position. I have to note that both of their grips were very strong which was giving me pain. What is up with these people?!

Tzuyu stood in front of me. Her face showed an apologetic look as well. She then raises her hand and placed it on my head. She held it there for a few minutes before taking her hand off and looked at me with confusion.

"I can't erase it," she said in disbelief

"What do you mean you can't erase it?!" yelled Jeongyeon in frustration

"She's immune to our powers," Tzuyu said with a hint of disbelief.

“Luna was never immune to our powers," Jihyo said nonchalantly as her eyes looked at mine.

"She's different" Tzuyu says in an almost whisper-like way. She looked at me with complete disbelief

"Ok, Mina we need to talk to you. Now that it's basically revealed, we will tell you everything. And by everything, who we really are. But we need you to calm down. We don't have the intention to hurt you"

Hurt me? How could they possibly hurt me?

"Fine," I said after some hesitation. Even though I was scared by everything that was happening, I figured I won't be able to get away from these girls even if I ran away.

We all went to living room once again. I sat across from all of them. Tzuyu was standing, refusing to sit down.

"Why do you guys have an old painting with me in it?" I asked right away, not wanting to prolong anything

"That painting you saw was painted around the late 1800s," said Jihyo

"How?" I said in disbelief.

"We're... not exactly human" Jihyo continued. "We are... what you call... vampires"

As soon as she dropped that word, I thought she was making fun of me about what I said earlier

"K, if you guys are just going to make fun of me-"

"Mina, we're not," Tzuyu said which made me sit back down.

"All of us have been around Earth for a long time now. I was born on the year 1506" Jihyo said

"So that story you guys told me... about being orphans and Tzuyu's parents..." I said shaking my head

"We made it up" replied Jihyo. "We go through several high schools, humans are persistent. We had to come up with something"

I gasped as I lowered my head. I felt betrayed in a way because I thought I had something in common with them. Being abandoned by our parents. But it was all just a lie.

"So all of you are vampires. That can't be real" I said "They're just fictional characters that were made to make us humans feel pathetic about how weak we are"

"But we are real," said Jihyo. "We're not exactly the type of vampires movies or show portray. We don't glitter like a diamond under the sun or burn under it, we're not necessarily cold in temperature because we can control it, and we can see our reflection in the mirror. We're exactly like humans, just with abilities no human can have. We're also physically attractive to humans since we're actual predators." Jihyo said

"That explains why you guys attract a crowd," I said. "What abilities are you talking about?"

"Well, abilities or powers a vampire has depends on how they were like as a human and what sort of skills they already possessed. For example, I was always in touch with knowing what people were feeling in my human life, therefore, I ended up gaining the ability to sense emotions. The abilities a vampire obtains is usually just their skill or gift as humans heightened. Over the years I was able to expand that to being able to manipulate emotions, wherein I can change what people feel." Jihyo said

"Like, if I'm angry... you can change that to me feeling happy?"

"Exactly. I can also transfer emotions, but that's a whole other explanation. Momo, was a dancer and fortune teller in her human life which translated into her being very skilled at battle since she moves quick and flexible and as well as see the changing future"

"You can see the future?!" I asked astonished

"Yes," Momo smiled proudly. "Can be cool at times, but also frustrating seeing endless possibilities."

"So you saw me coming?"

"Not quite. I saw that this place was where we needed to be next. I never saw a vision of you, however" she said

"Oh," I said, sort of disappointed. Tzuyu and Jihyo couldn't use their powers on me. Even Momo didn't see me coming. That was weird.

"Jeongyeon has x-ray vision meaning she can diagnose and heal any sort of injury," said Jihyo

"I was an apothecary in my human life. My whole life was practically devoted to healing people" said Jeongyeon

"If you have x-ray vision, does that mean...?"

"Yes, I can see through you," she said with a smirk. "Don't worry, I can only see your skeleton," she said after as she laughed. "I can see that your wrists are hurting from Tzuyu's and Chaeyoung's grip. If you want to, I can make that pain go away" she said

I extended my wrists to her hesitantly. She walked towards me and held my wrists and in just a minute she let go and I no longer felt pain.

"Wow," I said as I looked at my wrists.

"The healing time usually depends on how severe the injury is," she said before she gave me a smile and walked back to the couch across from me to sit down.

"It worked?" asked Jihyo

"Yeah" I replied

"Maybe she's only immune to certain powers" commented Tzuyu

"We'll get more to that topic later" said Jihyo. "Let's just carry on, Nayeon is able to see through walls and turn invisible. She was somewhat of a stalker " Jihyo said and proceeded to laugh right after.

This caused all of them to laugh except Tzuyu who kept a stern face.

"Don't listen to that Mina! Anyway, it's very useful in battle" Nayeon said with a smile. "Always helpful to know where your target is before going in and creeping up to them when they can't see you. Of course, I can only turn invisible for a limited time. I'm still working on it. Oh and I like to sing and that just translated to me being able to enchant people since I was a singer in the same entertainment bar as Momo back in the 1700s."

"Yes, just like I said, some skills already possessed in our human lives can become enhanced in our immortal life without it being necessary a full-on power. Nayeon's singing can enchant people like a siren. Usually just to distract them for a few minutes where they would try to find the source of that voice," Jihyo said "Dahyun over here is able to read anyone's thoughts. As well as communicate through our thoughts."

"I was that person that cared a little bit too much about what people thought. It didn't help to be the Mayor's daughter. It was pretty nice to actually be able to know exactly what people think. However, it used to be something that was very frustrating to me because as a newborn, I was unable to control it so everyone's thoughts would just be shouting in my ears all at once. Now I am able to just choose when to read someone's thoughts. The whole being able to communicate through mind came after I worked hard to perfect it."  Dahyun said with a proud smile

"So you can read my mind right now an
