A Week Later

Youngjae was shocked when he went to Jaebeom's company to show him his article before it went to publish, the receptionist told him that Jaebeom is still on an leave beause he was involved with a minor accident last week.

Youngjae dont really know what happen but he has a hunch that it was R's plan. Youngjae knows that R's hatred towards Lim Empire is so much bigger than himself. Like the way R's writie the letter really intimidating. Youngjae used to believe all ot the content but after the incident with his mother, Youngjae knows better.

Last 2 days ago.

Youngjae just comeback home from his work when he realize his mother were sitting on the sofa and there is a box in front of her. Youngjae recognize the box. Youngjae try to smile at his mother but his mother look so serious.

"Mother?" Youngjae

"What is this?" Yonghwa

" Urm its nothing mom." Youngjae

"Youngjae. I can read you know and what all of this letter? How come i dont even know about this?" Yonghwa

"Mom, its nothing." Youngjae

"Its not nothing when a stranger brainwashed my son! Those words inside the letter is worse with death threat and all of the wrong information." Yonghwa

"What? What wrong infromation? You read the words. The Lim family is the reason what happen mom and I swore to revenge for dad and also my sister." Youngjae said with a voice full of resentment.

"Son, how many time I said Lim family is not the reason why your dad commit suicide." Yonghwa

"So what exactly happen to dad? Why he do that?" Youngjae

"Youngjae ah.. Its because he was heartbroken." Yonghwa said with a sad voice

"Heartbroken?" Youngjae

"Yes Youngjae. I think you are old enough to know what really happen." Yonghwa

"Listen, your dad and Lim Junho is a childhood friend even when your dad is 10 years older than Junho is, your sister I mean the one you call sister is your aunt actually. I know you always thought Mina as your sister because she was so young to become an aunt. But after your grandparent died when your sister is only a baby he took care of her as his child. Your dad really doted your aunt so much. He is so proud of her well I am too. But then your aunt fall in love with some delinquent. The guy treated your aunt so badly that make your dad so angry at him. He knows your aunt love her boyfriend but he cant take it anymore when he saw how your aunt keep crying and all after the boy hits her. He ask a lot of advice from Junho then he realize how a good man Junho is so he ask Junho father and plan an arrange marriage between your aunt and also Junho. Junho decline at first but he also dont have any choice becaus his dad deadly want them to get married because your dad has promised to give him more percentage in stock shares in our company. The old Lim is all about money but not Junho. So after they get married and old Lim die, he give back the shares. Junho is a really good man." Yonghwa

Youngjae still cant believe what he heard. Junho is a good man? Its unbelievable.

"But mom, how can you so sure its not Lim's fault? " Youngjae

"Let me continue. You just open your ear and also your heart. The day we know Mina get pregnant we all are so happy then a miracle happen. After a few years getting married finally I also get pregnant with you. Your dad was super super happy! He took care of me and also Mina when Junho went for his bussiness meeting outside of Korea. Then Jaebeom were born on January while you are on September. We all are so happy with both of you coming to our small family. I still remember how Junho and your dad take turn to calm down both of you cry babies. I dont think you remember but when you and Jaebeom were 4 years old. You guys like best friend. You guy love each other I mean if you cry Jaebeom will cry to. If you want food Jaebeom also want food. You like twins. Unfortunately we need to move out farher away when your dad has his new projects so we rarely see your aunt Mina and Jaebeom. Then one day we get a phone call. A dreadful phone call." Yonghwa stop for a while and try to hide her tears

"Mom. What happen why are you crying?" Youngjae hug his mother.

"I still remember that phone call. Junho call us early in the morning and ask for your dad. His voice sound so worrried so I give the phone to your dad and what I see on your dad face is a really face that I want to forget. He did not say any words to me but heask me to get you and we all went to the hospital. I was really worried why we are here, then we went to one room and what I saw is a horrifying views. Our Jaebeom on the bed full of bruises and I alsmost faint when I see him. Junho look so disheveled. Your dad ask what exactly happen, with the help from one of their maid. Junho told us. How Jaebeom our little Jaebeom nearly get by your aunt boyfriend." Yonghwa

"What? What? Mom?" Youngjae look suprised by the story that his mother told.

"Yes, Youngjae. Your cousin Jaebeom nearly get assaulted I mean he already beaten up so much by that that monster. Your dad was so sad and also angry at your aunt. Your aunt was there when Jaebeom being attacked but she was so high after taking drugs. Junho was really angry at Mina that he file divorce just a day after the incident. He already had a bad feeling about this when his neighbour keep telling story about there is a stranger man keep visiting his house. He never believe but after he saw the CCTV that he installed secretly he was so mad. We all saw the video on how the monster keep beating, kicking and groping our little Jaebeom. Your aunt Mina and her boyfriend is sentence to a few years in prison but your father decided to cut off your aunt out of our life. I know your dad dont want to do that because he love his sister so much. But he also hurt and feel embarrased toward Junho. The kind Junho never get mad at us. He accept the fate. We also always visit hem. But then Jaebeom changes. He did not talk at all and for some reasons he also afraid to see your dad. Well Mina and your dad look so alike. What make your dad heartbroken is with what has happen your aunt still did not say sorry to Junho and also not a word to Jaebeom. You dont see how heartbroken Jaebom look when his own mother dont want to look at him. Your dad was so sorry towards both Jaebeom and Junho he dont know what to do anymore and that is when he decided to end his life. I actually know its not Junho and Jaebeom fault. It was Mina all along. Mina sent us a letter on how she will do anything to stay with her boyfriend and yeap. Your dad die not because he has suicidal thoughts its because of his heartbroken and about our company its not Junho fault but a few bastard guy who your father trust but they backstabb us. Junho doing all his best to save the company but alas nothing we can do. I left because I dont want to burden Junho. I work really hard to raise you so you can become a great kindhearted man like your dad." Yonghwa

"But mom why you did not tell me this soon?" Youngjae

"I am hurt too Youngjae. I try to forget all about it and hope for a better future. But when I see this letters ouh gosh I was so worried. Youngjae ah. Please stop interact with this whoever the person is, i actually afraid. How does this person sent this letter? Like how does he know we live here? Youngjae you know who the sender is?" Yonghwa

"No I dont know mom. I am sorry but this is the only things that I know about dad incident. I dont know what really happen. I am sorry mom." Youngjae said while crying

"No son. I just hope you dont do anything bad to Junho's family. They done so much to us." Yonghwa

"I did not do anything at all mom. I just want to know the truth. I only search about them. Nothing more." Youngjae

"I hope so and Youngjae please report to the police about this letter.I have a bad feeling for this. Junho has a lot of enemy because of his succesful bussiness." Yonghwa

"I will mom. I will." Youngje

Both mother and son were hugging and crying. Yonghwa were a little bit relieved after he told the secret to Youngjaje. It was hard for her to remember bad memories in her life but her son also need to know what really happen. Its been years since she heard about Junho's. She always misses them especially Jaebeom. She tried to not look at the interview about them because she knew whe will cry if she saw them. How grown up and successful his little Jaebeom make her always proud and he also know his husband also proud of both Jaebeom and their son. 

"Mom, I interviewed Jaebeom a few days ago." Youngjae

"Huh? You saw him? How is he?" Yonghwa

"He is fine, I mean he look fine. He look so professional and just like any bussinessmen. I have recorded his voice do you want to hear?" Youngjae

"Yes, I want to." Yonghwa

Youngjae turn on the recorded piece of his interview with Jaebeom and when his mother listen to Jaebeom's voice she cried again.

'' He sound so grown up." Yonghwa.

Both of them keep hugging until they fall asleep.

Youngjae was really worried when he knows about Jaebeom incident. He immediately call his mother and told what happen. His mother ask him to bring her to Junho's house. His mother want to see both of them and want to told what really happen so nothing bad will happen to Junho and Jaebeom.

Its been a week after the accident and a week after Jinyoung confessed. Jaebeom still did not answer his confession and its make Jinyoung feels restless. He dont know what to think anymore and now he is busy with his student life. Its been more than a week since he saw Jaebeom. He know that its always like this but then it was before he know his feeling I mean it was before he confessed to Jaebeom and he always feel like he want to throw up now. He was just sit down to eat his lunche when he heard someone call his name.

"Jinyoung hyung!!" Bambam

"Oh gosh!!" jinyoung sigh

"Hey hyung! Why are you always sigh when you see us?" Yugyeom

"Well because I dont like seeing you." Jinyoung

"Ouch, that hurt. But whatever. Why you always look like someone gonna killed you?" Yugyeom

"What?" Jinyoung

"Babe, let me speak. What Yugyeom said you look so pale. You need some vitamin D." Bambam speak

"What does pale equivalent with vitamin D?" Jinyoung

Bambam raise his eyebrow while smirking.

Jinyoung did not get it at first but then he understand what sly Bambam mean.

"Yeah babe what does it do?" Yugyeom

"You are stupid Yugyeom and you Bambam are really a snake ok." Jinyoung

Bambam just laugh hie heart out while his boyfriend looking so confused as hell.

"I dont get it." Yugyeom

"Nothing babe, I just said Jinyoung just lack the thing that I insert on your mouth last night" Bambam

"Euwww, to much details!!" Jinyoung smack Bambam arm.

"What? Food? Are you talking about vitamin D in our dinner last night?" Yugyeom

Bambam stop laughing and look at Yugyeom.

"Sometime I dont know why I am with you." Bambam said while shake his head

"Well its because you love me." Yugyeom said while peck Bambam head

"Well its true." Bambam 

"Euwww, both of you. Stop it!" Jinyoung

"Why are you on edge hyung? Mr Fiancee so busy that you dont have time with him?" Bambam

Jinyoung pout when he heard the word fiancee.

"Jackpot!" Yugyeom

"Is your fiancee busy hyung?" Bambam

"No, he is not. He is at his house being quarantine after the accident." Jinyoung

"Ouh yes hyung, how is Jaebeom hyung? Is he fine?" Yugyeom

"Yes, thank god. When he at the hospital I can visit him but now when he is back at his house I was so busy and I dont have time to meet him yet." Jinyoung

"Aahhhhh, so this is the case of you missing Jaebeom hyung?" Bambam

"What else babe? Jinyoung never had any other problems. Even when he is not that bright he always maintain his grade." Yugyeom

"Say the guy that always repeat his paper." Jinyoung 

Yugyeom blows raspberry to Jinyoung.

"Babe, stop your drools are everywhere." Bambam close Yugyeom  mouth with his book.

"So you donthave time to see Jaebeom hyung?" Bambam

"Yes." Jinyoung

"But its not like you always see him? You have been engage for months now but I think you guys meet a few time only. So why now you missed and want to see him? Unlesssss......" Bambam stare at Jinyoung.

Jinyoung feel a little bit uncomfortable because he already told Bambam at first that he will not falling in live with Jaebeom.

"You fall for him right?" Bambam smile

"What?" Jinyoung

"Dont hide it hyung...You totes fall iin love wiht Jaebeom hyung." Bambam

"Well of course he is, that guy is his fiancee right?" Yugyeom

Both Bambam and Jinyoung just sigh and laugh at Yugyeom statement.

Jinyoung continuue eat his food when his phone rings. Jinyoung yelp. He think its Jaebeom who call him but then he feel dejected when he saw the caller id.

"Hello?" Jackson

"Hurmmmm." Jinyoung

"Jinyoung ah." Jackson

"Hurmmmm." Jinyoung

"You liar I see you eating right now." Jackson

"Huh? Where are you?" Jinyoung panic. He really dont want to deal with his best friend right now.

"Just kidding I am at home." Jackson laugh

"Urghhh cut it off." Jinyoung said then he call of the phone calls. Then he message Jackson.

Sorry Jack I really dont have any energy to deal with you. 

 Jinyoung sigh and contemplate whether he should call Jaebeom or not.

Jaebeom can get home after a thorough examination were held and luckily nothing bad happened. Now Jaebeom being quarantine at his own house by his father. Junho forbid Jaebeom to leave from his room if there is no one attend at him. Jaebeom feel suffocated with all the maid keep asking if he want anything or is he fine.

He is already fine!

His father just keep him here so he can pester him. Urghhh Jaebeom feel so bored. At first he was fine with all the rest and what. But now he cant take it anymore. He need to go before he lost it. He get off from his bed when his phone rings.

"Hello?" Jaebeom said without looking at the id call

"Seriously? No call no message nothing" Jinyoung started whine

"Well hello there what can I help you in this lovely day?" Jaebeom tease.

"Yahhh!! Why its only me the one who keep reaching out for you?" Jinyoung

"Tired already? Well you the one who confessed sooo should not you woo me into falling for you?" Jaebeom chuckle

"Thank god I love you or else Im gonna stranggle you!" Jinyoung

There he is, Jinyoung said those word again.

"Urmm sorry but how can you say those word?" Jaebeom

"What word?" Jinyoung

"The word that you just said." Jaebeom

"Well I said a lot so which one." Jinyoung

"The 3 words!!" Jaebeom

"No clue." Jinyoung

"The I l....ouh i see what you did there. I m not gonna say it. You are so sly" Jaebeom

"Yaahh,,,its been a week and you did not say anything. I have feelings too you know." JInyoung

"Well I still need to think about it okay." Jaebeom

"What else you want to think? You already kissed me!" Jinyoung

"No I am not!!" Jaebeom

"Yes you are you kiss me on my head after I confessed." Jinyoung

"Its just a peck not a kiss." Jaebeom clarify.

Jinyoung is the only one make him rile up and he will fight back. Usually he just let the other person get what they want unless he dont agree with it but this is different he like when he have a little banter with Jinyoung.

"But Mark said you never done that to anyone else so I am special." Jinyoung

"Mark said? What did you do to my bestfriend?" Jaebeom

"Nothing." Jinyoung

"I still have a lot to ask you but not now. I want to get out from here first." Jaebeom

"Ehh? Uncle Junho said you need to stay at home!" Jinyoung

"No I cant do it anymore. I was so bored. I have read all my new books and now I dont know what else to do." Jaebeom whine

"Is this Mr Lim Jaebeom whining? A great Lim Jaebeom whining because he is bored? How cute.." Jinyoung coo

"Yah, stop it." Jaebeom

Jinyoung just laugh

"I like listening to your laugh." Jaebeom

There is no reply form the other side.

"Jinyoung?" Jaebeom

"Stop making my heart flutter!! Its not good to my heart. Ouh gosh. You wait there I m coming." Jinyoung

"Well whatever. Bye Jinyoung!" Jaebeom

Jaebeom become more relax after hearing Jinyoung voice and Jinyoung said he gonna visit him. Jaebeom did not contact Jinyoung for one reason. He need to collect his real though and feeling towards Jinyoung. Now he realize he like Jinyoung, I mean love Jinyoung he need a lot of self confidance to feel this. Its not like he lack of love. His faher give him a lot of love and his maid and driver also keep giving their adoring love to Jaebeom.

But he still remember the look his mother gave him when the judges sentence her. Not even a word. She just glare at him for a seconds and just left. Jaebeom at that time who still dont exactly understand what has happen were waiting for his mother to come and give him a hug and a smile. Jaeebom's mother were never there when he is in pain. He always accompany by his father only but Jaebeom still  want his mother. He keep calling his mother when he is sleeping and seeing his mother hatred towards him really scared him. The women who always hug him and say nice words with her motherly tone changes all of sudden. 

All of this make Jaebeom change his opinion about love. He used to believed love story and such but now he protected himself and make sure to not fall deeply in love because he can see how his mother is so deeply in love with that man and how her mother change from the loving mother he knows to a cold women.

Jaebeom sigh.

Should he just go with it?
