35th week

3am ´37

It was like… nothing had happened. Jonghyun was peacefully sleeping but suddenly he heard a noise. He woke up and he heard it more. His baby was crying. But where he was? Jonghyun shivered and tried to reach for something when he knocked off something from the nightstand. It was glass.

“Jonghyun, love?” Jinki yawned and suddenly got startled, he sat up straight and looked at Jonghyun who looked stressed. “Hyunnie! Honey, shsh,” Jinki whispered and looked at Bummie who was still crying.

Jinki carefully got up and looked at the glass… or more like what was left from the glass. He took Kibum in his arms and a bottle with milk. He started feeding Kibum.

“I… I am sorry… I…” Jonghyun stammered when Jinki kissed him. “It’s not your fault, I will feed Bummie and clean it…” Jinki smiled.

“But… I should learn it,” Hyun whispered.

“I will help you and home you will have also Scara by your side,” Jinki smiled, kissed him, and looked at Kibum who after a while finished the whole bottle.

Jinki put it at the side on the nightstand and leaned Bummie against his shoulder and his back. “Hyunnie, don’t be worried and stressed,” Jinki smiled and kissed Hyun’s cheek.

“B-but…” Jonghyun sobbed and Jinki gave him Kibum carefully. “No but… get Bummie, he is searching for you, I will clean the mess,” Jinki smiled.

Jonghyun blinked and hold Bummie tightly. Jinki cleaned the glass and called a nurse. It was a young woman who smiled at both men. Jinki asked her for something to drink and a new glass. She nodded and soon was back with it. Jinki put a nightstand a bit at the side, moved his bed closer to Jonghyun, and snuggled closer.

“Bummie is sleeping,” Hyun whispered and Jinki smiled softly. “He is and now his appa should too,” Jinki smiled. “But let’s put him back at the crib, home we can sleep with him on our big bed, but not here,” Jinki smiled.

“Okay,” Jonghyun whispered and Jinki wanted to help him. “No… I want to do it… please…” Jonghyun whispered.

“Alright baby,” Jinki smiled and squeezed Jonghyun’s shoulder.

Jonghyun took a deep breath and let his legs go down from the bed. He held Kibum tightly and stood up. Jinki was watching him closely and was ready to help him if it was needed. But Jonghyun with his one hand moved the crib closer, put into it Kibummie, and covered him with the blanket. Jinki checked it, smiled, and hugged Jonghyun tightly.

“You did it so well honey, like you were doing this every day,” Jinki smiled and snuggled Jjong closer.

Jonghyun took a deep breath, smiled a bit, and rested against Jinki’s chest. Jinki was him till he didn’t hear calm breathing.

6am ´57

Beautiful peaceful sleep, but it didn’t take long and they were woken up by Kibum’s cry. Jonghyun carefully sat up, rubbed his eyes and Jinki was up too watching Jonghyun sleepily.

“I will be right there,” Jinki smiled tiredly, Hyun hummed something and made his slow way to the crib which he moved closer more.

Then he took out Bummie, kissed his forehead, and smiled softly. “There there, baby, shsh,” Hyun whispered and him. “Can you pass me the bottle?” Jonghyun asked softly and Jinki with a smile handed him the bottle of milk which was still a bit warm.

“Thank you,” Jonghyun smiled and Kibummie was happy with his breakfast.

“Good morning, how are you feeling?” into the room came a nurse with a tray where breakfast for both men was.

“Good morning,” Jinki smiled and Jonghyun muttered a soft good morning too.

Then he Bummie and smiled softly. “I feel fine… though… I feel a bit empty without Bummie in my tummy,” Jonghyun smiled softly, blinked, and kissed softly Bummie’s cheek.

“It is a normal thing to feel, I have to make a little check before your doctor will come here,” the nurse smiled and Jjong nodded when the nurse checked firstly Kibummie and then also Jonghyun and his tummy.

“Good, your scar is healing well and your baby looks fine,” the nurse smiled. “I will bring here more bottles of milk that would be warm, you have here the bag for it to keep it fine,” she smiled and Jonghyun nodded.

“Yes, thank you very much for taking care of me,” Hyun smiled softly and Jinki smiled Bummie’s cheek when Hyun leaned his baby against his shoulder, his back.

“No need to thank me, but don’t forget to clean his little mess in diapers,” she chuckled and went away.

“Oh right, I was thinking about it… he is kind of a big bad smell,” Jinki laughed and Bummie whined.

“See? Don’t talk with that bad mouth, sir, our son hears it, he is smelling so nice!” Jonghyun giggled and took a big breath
