Lee Hoseok
From Zero [DISCONTINUED]It has been 30 minutes since my last text and Jay had not reply anything at all. Somehow it made me worried. I sent her a text and still, no reply. Couldn't hold it anymore, I tapped the 'contact' icon and call her.
"Yoo Jay!"
"Hey, what's wrong?"
"Why don't you reply my text?"
"Ah, I'm in a cafe with Hari."
"Wait, what? I thought you guys aren't talking to each other."
"Yeah, me too."
"This doesn't feel right, Jay."
"Hoseok, I'll call you later."
"Hold on, Jay—"
Ugh,
Without thinking twice, I grabbed my car key and went out to head to my car. I drove it around the town to find the cafe that Jay was talking about. 20 minutes just passed. I still didn't get any call from Jay and it seemed that all the cafe had closed since it was already late at night.
Sighing heavily, I stopped my car at the side road and took out my phone. I tried searching on the Internet if there was any cafe which operated until midnight.
Eureka.
It was a few blocks away. I started driving again and arrived there in 15 minutes.
Wait this isn't a cafe.
I rushed into the building and looked for Jay. I saw her having a serious conversation with Hari. Without hesitation I walked to them and grabbed Jay's arm. She seemed very shocked because of my presence but I didn't even bother it and instead, I forced her to stand up.
"H-Hoseok, why are you here?"
"Let's go. I'm taking you home." I dragged her out if the shady cafe and left Hari alone.
Jay wanted to say something but maybe after sensing my anger she decided to just keep silent. We got into the car and I the engine but didn't start driving at all.
"H-Hoseok..."
Without any word, I pulled her into a tight hug and released a huge sigh in relief. "Thank god you're fine." I caressed the back of her head softly. Again, a releasing a small sigh.
"I'm sorry for making you worried." She patted my back and hair with her small hand.
"Promise me, don't go to shady places like that cafe anymore."
All of sudden, she released the hug and looked at me right in the eyes. "Hari brought me there. What's wrong with it?"
"It's not a cafe."
"Wait, what?" Suddenly, she threw a small nervous chuckle at me. But then she frowned when realizing that I wasn't joking at all.
"I don't know how she knows about that place but it's not a cafe. It was a club at first. A very shady one. I used to go there a lot of times but immediately stopped after I saw they sold some drugs to the customers there."
She was in shock. Her hands started to tremble. I tried to calm her down by holding her hands tightly. "Hey, listen. Just make sure you won't ignore my calls or texts and tell me if you're in trouble as soon as possible,
