I opened my eyes and immediately closed it back as the bright light was hurting them. Then I slowly opened it back and realized the place wasn't my room. When I was about to raise my hand, I felt something. I took a glance at my left hand and saw someone was holding it tight. 

"What am I doing here?" I asked after I noticed the place was a hospital. The smell of medicine were so strong as it hurt my nose. My nose scrunched by the smell and I started to move my body, trying to get up.

"Oh hey, you're awake." It was Jay, the person who held my hand. She helped me getting up by holding my hand.

"Jay? What... What are you doing here?" I asked while looking at her in confusion. 

"You don't remember? You hand got into a hot grill and it burned your skin. It's bleeding too." She explained while pointing at my right hand.

I looked at my hand and found half of it was wrapped with a bandage. "Yeah I remember that." 

But then she started sobbing, tears falling from her eyes. "I'm so sorry." She said while palming her face. 

I put down her hands with my left arm and then cupped her cheek. "Hey, why are you apologizing? It's not your fault." I said while wiping the tears that ran through her cheeks.

"It is. T-the floor w-was slippery a-and I accidentally p-pushed y-you." She explained while sobbing hard, tears kept falling and it seemed like wouldn't stop. 

"Hey. Hey, look at me. It's fine. You don't wanna do that. It's not your fault." I calmed her down by looking right into her eyes while caressing her cheek softly. I wanted to cup both her cheeks but even raising the injured hand was agonizing. 

I put my hand down after she seemed to calm down a bit. After 10 minutes of silence, the door was opened by Kihyun and the other boys immediately ran to us. They looked a little in shock after realizing Jay was there too but they seemed to ignore it and gave their full attention to me. But not Kihyun. He let the boys went to me while he walked to Jay to say something.

"Hyung, are you okay?" 

"Did you cut yourself by using chef's knife?"

"Minhyuk, that's not funny!"

"What happened?"

"Guys please, one at a time." I chuckled while calming them down. After they seemed to be silent, finally I could hear what Jay and Kihyun were talking about.

"Hey, Jaeyi. Thanks for being with him for a while. And thanks for calling me right after it happened."

"It's fine. I don't know who should I call but then I remember you're his roommate. And plus it's my fault he's hurt. I pushed him then his hand got into fire and it burned his skin and not to mention blood—" she stopped as Kihyun placed his hand on her shoulder
