'Can i have a real friend?' I asked myself.

- Your POV -

"Do you even know what book 'Jane Eyre' is?" I said sarcastically

"No.. but the name's pretty nice, Jane"

"Yeah right. You should know better." I rolled my eyes. "This is a good book, you know. Lots of life lessons. What i love the most is.. Jane is a brave girl who respect herself and others. She lives her life and doesn't worry about what others think is dignified." I said enthusiastically.

He's kinda surprised with my eagerness.

"And one more thing.." I continued. "Jane believes that love is more important than anything else. How deep is that." I said with spark in my eyes.

He laughed. "What do you know about love when you'd become angry all the time?" He couldn't stop laughing.

I glared at him. "Don't act like you know either! I had an experience too, even just a little, for your information."

He chuckled "Then you can say i had too.. a little. But you don't look like you had one, you know?!" He teased me.

"I had! Even it's not good.. but still.. a sad one still counted as an experience, right?" I sighed.

"What did he do?" He asked, eyes on me. "I know it's personal stuff.. you don't have to answer if you—"

"He left me for other girl." I said and faked a smile. I didn't know why i answered. He's a stranger, but deep down in my heart i felt that i could share my story to his Eyre self i guessed. Me being Jane was somehow.. comforting.

"Oh i'm sorry." He sympathized. We stay silent for awhile until he broke it.

"You know, i kinda used to you being loud. Now that you keep your mouth shut like this, it's.. creepy" He pretended to be scared.

"What?!" I shouted at him but also laughed at the same time. "It's just yesterday and you already used to my shouts. Well, you take things fast ." I still laughed.

"Maybe i am." He laughed. We talked for a while, he eventually shared his story about his ex. He left her.. when he had to choose something bigger, something that changed his life.

"You could do better" I said, disagree with his point of view. "You're not supposed to leave her. There will always be a way." I continued without careful thought.

"You're not gonna say like that if you know what life i have chosen. It's not that simple. In my world, in the end, we need to sacrifice something or even someone to become someone big."

I thought more deeply when he said that. I couldn't understand his mind. In my world —my simple and organized world— i plan everything to be like the way i wanted. I like to live calm and peaceful. I know i can encounter many things in life that i don't want to, like my encounter with him. I'm not naive, but still.. i will never sacrifice anything that belongs to me for something uncertain. That's horrible.

"I have schedules. I'm sorry. I need to go, Jane." Suddenly he got up after checking the time.

"Yeah. Yeah. Don't let the police arrest you, you must hide immediately, Criminal Eyre!"

"You silly." He chuckled. "Talk to you later!"

After he left, i got up too and did what i need to do.

Finished with my other classes for today, Dahae came up.

"Let's go home. I forgot my keys again.. and the boys —"

"Ne. Ne. Let's go home, Dahae-ssi. Your boys are waiting for you." I already understood what she want. Yes, It's her BTS boys on TV.

After days, the least awaited moment came to me.

"Hey, Minhee eonni" Dahae greeted me. She pretended to be cute.

"Ehm, you called me like that means there's something that you want, right? Just tell me what do you want, Dahae-ssi." I spoke with sarcasm.

"You know me so well, Minhee-ah." She giggled. "It's about the fan sign event that you have no excuse to not to come. I already checked your schedule for tomorrow. No class, no extra credit discussion, no deadline."

I sighed. She really learned from the past. I had so many excuses before and it worked. Dahae never succeed to made me come. "Please, Dahae-ah. You know that's not my thing, right? You should ask someone who's as excited as you. I am a boring person." I pleaded.

"No no. No excuses. No one would come with me except you. I already signed you up. Please, Minhee eonni. You promised me this one." She pleaded too.

I took my breath for a second. "Okay. Okay." I sighed. I gave up. "I'll come."

"Yes! Mansae!" She cheered. "Now, let's go to class" She dragged me with her while giggling.

'At least, she's happy.' I told to myself and followed her to the class.

- His POV -

I wasn't late to be in class today. I already sat in my seat even before everybody arrived. I knew everyone was started to suspect me for someone when they came in and whisper to each other. Because of that, i took cover more and kept looking down

"Hey Eyre, you're here. You're not caught yet. We should throw a party." Jane suddenly came and teased me. I peeked a little. She sat down beside my seat. I knew her friend was busy staring.

"Shut up!" I spoke as quietly as i could while still looking down. She just chuckled.

"You know him?" Her friend asked her.

"No.. And stop staring at him, Dahae-ah! It's rude." She said to her friend. I couldn't help but smile under my covers.

"But his figure looks like someone. He's very familiar." I froze. 'Oh man! Did she recognize me? Is she a fan?' I tensed.

"Just stop it. Prof. Kim's here." Jane said and i finally felt so relieved.

We finished the class as usual. When Jane was about to head out, i quickly walked to her and said without turning my head. "Thanks for your help. I owe you." I didn't stop walking out.

"What help?" I heard her and just rolled my eyes.

- Your POV -

And the Fan Sign Day came. I felt so lazy even from i woke up this morning. I had no class today, i had nothing to do. If Dahae didn't plan all of this, i would probably at the library by now.

"Minhee-ah, are you ready?" She came to my room.

"Yeah." I said, helpless.

"Great! You need to bring all of this." She gave me few things, a doll, an album, and a placard which have 'Jungkook' name on it.

"What's all of this?! You said i just need to accompany you? And who's Jungkook?" I protested.

"Aigoo. You will come to a fan sign, honey. They will sign the album for you. You need to fit in. Everybody will bring all of this things. And besides.. i'll be very happy if i have two signed album. You need to say my name if they ask yours, okay? Oh oh! And don't forget to give the doll to Jungkook. He's my bias wrecker, though." She giggled.

"I don't even know who's Jungkook." I frowned.

"I will show him to you if we're there. Now, let's go!" She dragged me, i just cursed under my breath.

We arrived at the venue. Dahae, again, dragged me to the arranged seat. I looked around. There're many photos of the boy band that i guessed were the stars of this fan meet. But.. strangely.. i felt familiar to one of the face. When i studied the face harder, i heard people around me started to scream.

"Oh My God, they're coming! Minhee-ah, hold your placard!" Dahae quickly ordered me.

When i was getting my placard up, i saw him. He saw me, with dark eyes.

- His POV -

I saw a familiar face. I saw Jane. Suddenly, the happy thought of having a real friend disappeared.

'What the hell is she doing here?! Why is she holding a placard with my name?! She is a liar! She's a fan from the beginning. She tricked me!' I talked to myself. I couldn't help but get enraged.
