I huffed and pulled the sheets over my face “Lola, come on wake up!” chided Ruby “Can I at least sleep late today, I don’t even have a job anymore” I complained. “They are calling you from the office though.” I sat up suddenly, the momentum made me dizzy for a moment “What?” I asked my eyes wide with surprise “I don’t know. A man told me he called your phone and he wasn’t able to reach it so he found our home number instead and he’s still on the line so you better pick that lazy of yours up.” I jumped off the bed nearly avoiding getting tangled in the sheets as I did so. Maybe it’s just Haechan or Mark calling to let me know I forgot something in the office I thought, but still, my heart did a nervous flip when I picked up the receiver. “Hello?” I said hesitantly “Ah yeah, Lola, finally,” said Mr.Kim’s soft voice “I want you to be in the office before noon.” “But.. but Mr.Lee fired me” I stuttered “Yes, indeed,” he said with a serious voice “We will talk about that too when you come around, I need to hang up now.” “Alright.” I managed and the line dropped.
