Kun 1

I shut the book I was reading. Ruby had already gone to sleep. This day had been really tiring. I stretched before settling back into the fluffy sheets. Tomorrow I would learn which department I was gonna work in from now on. Sleep came fastly as it was already like I was in a dream.

I dreamt of a morrow. Filled with daisies.

I run to catch the bus as it moved away from the station. But it suddenly came to a stop again and one of the doors opened. Someone had seen me running and pressed the button to stop the bus from moving. I felt happy tears fill my eyes with gratitude. The thought of being late consecutively during the first two days of my new job was dreadful at the very least. I hopped on the bus from the open back door, panting heavily from all the running. I turned to thank the man for he made one of the greatest benevolence humankind could manage, and came face to face with a familiar face. “You.. are Kun.” I managed “Yes, I am.” he laughed with the most sincere laugh ever. “I mean, thanks, thanks a lot for making the bus wait for me,” I said fixing the handle of my courier bag and tucking a strand hair behind my ear. He said “I don’t know what you’re talking about” and feigned ignorance but the bright smile remained on his face as he watched the road from where he stood next to me.

“Have a good day!” I exclaimed as our paths draw apart in the company building. I like the way he looks with his windswept brown hair and his hands in the pockets of his pullover hoodie, I realized but pushed the thought away from my mind as I needed to attend the department choosing meeting immediately.
