" I'm officially pulling myself out of this, I can't do it anymore... ", rambled Naeun once in the ladies washroom, with the only person lending her ears to her complaints, Son Seungwan, staring back blankly.

The girl had her chin trapped in between her thumb and index finger, drowning deep into her thoughts as she tried to find a solution for Naeun's case. It didn't take long before the bell for the first lesson rang, snapping Seungwan out of her trance.

" Let's go back to class before we're late ", she proceeded towards the exit, with Naeun following her behind.

Having heard the entire story regarding Naeun's failure, which was partially a success, Seungwan couldn't help but feel the need to step in and think of a " Plan B". After all, it was her who triggered Naeun into putting herself in a mess with Donghan.

Once in class, Naeun was about to walk towards her usual seat next to Seulgi when Seungwan stopped her from doing so. The girl shot her a questioning look hence she decided to explain her actions.

" We still need to talk. Sit next to me at the back, Mr. Kim won't notice ", stated Seungwan as she briefly glanced at their mathematics teacher, Mr. Kim, making his way in class.

Successfully switching seats with Namjoo, Naeun sat at the back next to Seungwan without giving her usual seatmate an explanation. Seulgi couldn't help but get worried over her friend, specially after noticing the unpleasant expression Naeun had on her face.

" So, what are you going to do? ", asked Seungwan, cautious of her voice, ensuring it's in a low volume.

" Told yah, I'm pulling out ", Naeun replied blatantly.

" You aren't serious, are you? "

" I'm dead serious Seungwan! ", Naeun slightly raised her voice, had her eyes bulge outwards upon hearing Mr. Kim clearing his throat.

She knew what was coming next, and was mentally preparing herself for it.

" Kang Seulgi! I think the board is positioned in front, not at the back ", Seulgi flinched before turning to face in front.

Eversince she noticed her friend isn't in a good mood, the poor girl kept turning on her back to steal glances at Naeun.

" I'm sorry ", she awkwardly apologized.

Naeun heaved a sigh upon realising she wasn't the one caught despite her careless move.

" Poor Seulgi... ", was what slipped out of .

" The Son Naeun I know wouldn't give up on something concerning her best friend's happiness ", stated Seungwan as she continued taking down notes.

" Seungwan, I don't want to let go of it either... but it's tough ", she heaved a sigh.

" Where there's an unsuccessful 'Plan A', there must be the formation of a 'Plan B'", Seungwan wiggled her eyebrows as she glanced at her.

Naeun looked back blankly as she began questioning the need of a "Plan B"

Will Donghan fall for it despite not doing so for the previous one?

The girl for sure didn't want to further embarrass herself...

" What if 'Plan B' fails too? ", she cocked an eyebrow at Seungwan.

" Then try 'Plan C' ", the latter grinned.

" You clearly are out of your mind "

" Come on, can't you be positive? Why predict 'Plan B's' failure this early ", Seungwan furrowed her eyebrows.

" Because unfortunately, the guy involved here isn't just anyone, but Kim ing Donghan ", Naeun replied through greeted teeth before resuming to what she was doing when Mr. Kim's unnecessarily loud voice startled her.

" The two Sons at the back! You better behave, or else... you don't wish to know ", he had his index finger pointing towards the two as he glared daggers at them.

" Great ", mouthed Naeun to herself once he turned back to face the board.

Classes were soon dismissed for break. Naeun once again wanted to access her locker, but dreaded doing so at the same time as Donghan. After what happened the previous day, she didn't ever want to involve herself in matters pertaining him, nor did she want to interact with him in any way thus did her best to avoid him. She would stand quiet a distance away from her locker and observe him from a far, wait for him to finish his business before going there.

And that was exactly what she was doing at that moment.
