Key’s POV

Today was my first day working with Heechul-hyung. As it was my first day, he let me just introduce myself to his team and then asked me to take the rest of the day off to get myself ready for hectic days ahead. Just as I made my way out of Cinderella Fashion’s office, my phone rang. Pulling out, I saw it was Jonghyun hyung. I couldn’t get the smile off of my face as I pressed answer!

“Helloooooo Stranger!!!!!” I could hear him giggle at my greeting.

“Hello to you to Kibum-ah! How are you?”

“Well I’m as fine as one can be when their friend is super busy to even check on them!”

“Aigooo….will you forgive me if I apologise? I didn’t mean to go MIA on you, but there was a special painting request from one of the foreign buyers and I was on a deadline. I’m really sorry for not informing you in advance! Mianhae Kibum-ah!” I could hear him rambling nervously.

“Hyung! Its ok! I understand, I was just kidding. Well tell me how the deal went. Were you able to complete it in time? I hope I’m not disturbing you at the moment. You can go back to work and we can talk when you’re free.”

“Kibum-ah….now you’re rambling!” he told me chuckling. I couldn’t help but chuckle back.

“Well I guess that’s something we can say we have in common, hehe!”

“Yes! And about that painting, it’s done and the deal went well. Better than I expected as it was my first time dealing with a foreign client. Actually I called to check if you’re free, we could celebrate this success.”

“Yep! I’m free, so what’s the plan?”

“I was hoping you could come down to my place. You haven’t seen my condo yet right?”

“You own a condo?”

“Ehhh…yes I do. So what say? I’ll cook something for us, and you can meet Roo. We can watch some movies later.”

“Sounds fun, I’m in!  And tell you what, I’ll get us dessert!” I told him gleefully.

“You don’t have to. I can get something for us Kibum-ah.”

“Nope! I’m bringing dessert! I can’t let you flaunt your cooking skills. I can cook just as good!” I told him. All he did was chuckle

“Arrasso Arrasso…..So see you tonight. I’ll text you the address.”

“Okieee~”

Jonghyun’s POV

“Roo-ya! What do I do? You think he’ll like this?! What if he doesn’t like this dish?? Should I order delivery??? WHAT DO I DO!!!! ROOOOOOO HELP ME!!!!! I whined at Roo as I pulled my hair. She just sat there giving me that innocent look, while I was freaking out here. It was almost as if she was saying: Oppa, you’re a bit crazy right now but I still love you!

In the midst of my freaking, I heard the doorbell ring. HE IS HERE!!!!! Ok Jonghyun, you can do this! I took a look around to make sure everything was fine and did a mental check. Food-Check, Wine-Check, Movie-Check, Roo-Check, Self-Check! I looked to make sure I was presentable. I decided to put on my knit sweater and blue denims. Hope Kibum finds it fashionable enough!

I opened the door to let him in and my God! I was floored by the sheer beauty before me! He stood there bundled up in his off-white hoody. WHY IS HE SO CUTE???!!!!! He gave me a cute smile as he entered. Those dimples! He can show me those dimples and I’ll let him happily rob my house! Those dimples are scary!!! They are scary cute!!!!

“WOW Hyung! Your place is super nice!”  he said as he looked around with gleaming eyes, taking in all the surroundings.

“Thank you! I cannot actually take the credit for it as it was Noona who decorated it for me.” I told him truthfully.

“Sodam Noona has the best taste in interior!” he exclaimed

“Are you hungry? Everything is ready!”

“Yep! I’m super hungry, let’s eat! Ah! Can you keep this in fridge to chill? We can have it while watching movie.” he said handing a container to me.

“What’s in this?” I said as I tried peaking in. Just then he slapped my hand away and said,

“It’s a surprise!!!! No Peaking!!!!” we both we shocked as we heard a bark behind us. As we turned Kibum squealed as he rushed to pick Roo. He kept cuddling her, but what surprised me was Roo! She hates people touching her! But here she was letting Kibum cuddle her!

“Well, this is Roo.”

“She is soooooo cuteeeeee!!!!!” I couldn’t help but smile. Both of them are CUTE.

“Come, let’s eat before the food becomes cold.”

He followed me letting Roo down. When we made way towards the terrace where I had set up the table, I heard Kibum gasp behind me.

“Hy…Hyung this is s…so beautiful!” I could see a huge smile bloom on his face. In what little time I knew him, I found out that he is also a romantic at heart.

“Well I…I wanted to make it as special as possible. Since we started our new friendship we didn’t actually celebrate it, so….ehhh I hope you like it…..” I told him blushing a bit.

“Like? I LOVE IT!!!!! This is perfect! Better than any five star date! I mean I like five star hotel dates and all but sometimes this cozy atmosphere is more special than any restaurant!”

“I’m happy you liked it, let’s sit.” I ushered him towards the cushions I had laid out. After we took our seats, I lifted the lids and revealed the dishes I made. I knew his favorite was Italian food. Hence, today, I specially made pasta and salad for him.

“Hyungggggg!!!! You made pasta!!!!! OMG!!!!! Thank you! Thank you!” He started clapping like a kid. I couldn’t help but chuckle as I poured us some wine.

“Well, there’s one more dish, I wasn’t sure as it’s the first time I actually made it. I hope it’s edible.” I told him as I uncovered the last dish.

Suddenly he started laughing. I was shocked! Did he not like it?? I knew I should have just kept it simple!

“Yo…You made Tteokbokki! OMG hyung why are you so cute? Also you said you made this for the first time?” I could feel my face heat up as I replied,

“Ehhh….Korean dishes are hard to make! It needs expertise and all that. I had to put my mom on Skype just to make this! I’m sure she is pretty annoyed at me after hours of torture I put her through!”

“Hyung I hope you washed your hands while making it.”

“OF COURSE I DID! Aish!” I couldn’t help but be flustered. He started laughing as he pinched my cheeks.

“I’m kidding hyung! Well are you going to taste it or not?”

“Ahh….ye….yes” I started serving out dishes. As he took the first bite of pasta, I kept looking at him, gauging his reaction. As he chewed, I saw him close his eyes. A blissful expression spread over his face. Was that a moan I heard?!

“We…Well?”

“You passed hyung, this is the best pasta ever!” he said smiling angelically at me!

“Thank you Kibum.”

We spent some time enjoying the food and wine as we spoke about things we did these past few days.

“Well, time for dessert!!!!”  He exclaimed. As I was about to get up to get the container, he stood and pushed me down lightly.

“You sit here, let me go and grab it.” he said making his way to kitchen. I didn’t have to wait long, he came bouncing holding on to the container he brought. I could feel my heart beat fast with anticipation. What did he bring?

“Ta-da!!!!”  He opened the container and within it was a perfectly layered Tiramisu!

As he started scooping it out in small bowls he said

“I hope you like it!” as he handed me the bowl. He kept his eyes on me as I took a bite of it. I have a huge sweet tooth, hence I often indulge myself in desserts, sometimes with Minho and sometimes with Noona, but this was the best Tiramisu. Ever!  And let me tell you, I have tried quite a few!

“This is DELICIOUS Kibum! Best Tiramisu I have had so far! You are amazing, I give you that!” I told him as I raised my hands as a sign of surrender. He started laughing.

“So what are we watching?”  He asked as he took bites of his dessert.

“Well, I have a few selections here, you can pick what you want to watch.” I told him as I handed him a few DVDs. As he went through them, he pulled out my favorite

“How about this?” he said handing me the DVD.

“La La Land? It’s my favorite!” I told him as I plugged it in.

“Mine too!” he said giggling.

We both relaxed as we started watching it. As it started playing the song “A Lovely Night”, I pulled out my guitar which I had kept handy on the side and started singing along, looking at Kibum.

What a waste of a lovely night (Jonghyun & Kibum)

We both started giggling as we sang together along with the protagonist of the movie. As the song came to an end, we both were quite out of breath from all the laughing. I shouldn't have drank all that wine! Now my head feels light. Just as I closed my eyes to stop my head from spinning, I felt a beath on my face. When I opened me eyes, Kibum was leaning on me.

"Ki....Kibum?!" Before I grasped what was happening, I felt feather soft, sugar sweet lips on mine!!!!!!!!

Huh??????

And as suddenly as his lips touched mine, they slid below and I felt a weight on my lap! Kibum was sleeping soundly, even snoring a little! Now what am I to do Kibum-ah??? You are sleeping so soundly but you snatched my sleep!!!!!
