Jinki’s POV

“Bummiee would you please hurry up! We’ll be late!!! The event starts at 8, it’s already 7.30. Please. Hurry up.” I called out from downstairs. It’s been four hours since Bum & Tae disappear into Bum’s room. God!!!! What are they even doing in there?! Sometimes they are even worse than girls! I decided to call Taeyeon and check where she is, we’ll be riding together after all. Just as it rang once, it was picked up-

“Hello Jinki, I’ll be there in five.”  Saying this she had already hanged up even before I could greet her. Taeyeon and her to the point no nonsense attitude… Sighing to myself, I let my shoulders sag some. Lee Jinki, do you even have one normal person in your life? Well, Jonghyun seems pretty normal, doesn’t he? I couldn’t help but chuckle at my thoughts.

Jinki's Look for Exhibition 

“What are you doing chuckling there alone Old Man?” I looked up to see Kibumiee walking down the stairs looking absolutely gorgeous. Sometime he reminds me of how our mom used to look when she dolled up for parties. Kibum does take after her a lot. He has a very petite frame like her, also those peircing fox eye and not to mention that fire cracker personality. Yup! He is like her replica.

As I was about to comment back, my breathe left me! There, walking behind Kibum, was, to put it poetically and probably literally, an ethereal being! Taemin walked behind Bum, but it was like he was an entirely new person! He was sporting an all red suit and a subtle, smoky makeup. He had put a cross earring in his ear. All in all, he looked killer! I couldn’t help but stare in dumb shock!

I felt someone push my chin up. It snapped me out of whatever trance I was caught in.

“Close your mouth hyung before you catch flies, hehe.” I heard Bum chuckle before he continued “I’ll wait outside, don’t take too long or we’ll be late!”

“Now he care about time! I wonder how rude it’ll be if Tae and I skip the exhibition…..probably a lot…Oh well…” I couldn’t help but mutter under my breath, when I heard a soft chuckle next to me. As I looked up, I found Tae standing next to be smiling at me shyly.

“Shall we?” he asked softly.

“Hmm. In a minute, my love.” I told him as I pulled him in my arms. “You look drop dead gorgeous Taemin-ah.” I whispered in his ear while holding his waist in one hand and caressing his neck with the other. I felt him hide his face in my neck as he muttered softly, “I’m glad you like it…” I pushed him a bit so I could see his face and I saw him blushing! He was both cute and y at the same time! I was suddenly overcome with intense feelings of affection, love and care for Taemin. I pulled him closer and holding his neck, I gently placed a kiss on his forehead. And because those cheeks were so beautifully rosy, I couldn’t help but steal a peck at each. By now, he had already gripped my arms and was biting those luscious lips of his. They look so sweet, like honey….I wonder what they taste like. And before I could consciously think, my lips were already placed on his lips in a soft kiss. Just a bit more! His lips are so much sweeter than they look! They’re addicting! Too bad I can’t indulge in then right now. So I pulled back and placed one last peck on his lips. This seems to have shocked him as I heard him whisper “Hyung…..!!!!”

“Let’s go before Bum gets impatient” I gave his nose a kiss and pulled him with me.

Taemin’s POV

I was sure everyone in 5 km radius could hear my heart beat! Jinki hyung is full of surprises! I never expected him to kiss me so suddenly! Not that I hate it! Absolutely not! Rather it’s the opposite, I like it so much that I can’t help but blush! I wonder how soon we can do that again!!! Aish! As we came out, I could see Noona and Key hyung already sitting in the Limo. We both quickly got in and buckled up. As car started moving, I saw hyung and noona converse quietly about some work matters. When I turned to my left, I saw Key hyung staring outside. Why was he so quite? I shifted a bit in my seat and my movement caught Jinki hyung’s attention. He raised an eyebrow in my direction; all I did was smile and shake my head to reassure him that nothing was wrong. His gaze then shifted to Key hyung and he caught onto my plan. He just smiled and turned his attention back to noona, politely giving us the privacy to converse.

“Hyung” I whispered as I touched his arm to get his attention. He got startled a bit and turned towards me, with questioning gaze.

“Are you alright? Why do you look so down? I thought you’ll be super excited to meet Jonghyun-ssi after almost two weeks, plus art is something you love. You’ll finally be able to see some of his works.”

“I have already seen some of his works Tae. And I must say they are really amazing! No one can deny that he is talented. But that not what I’m worried about.” He said as he looked at his folded hands.

“Then what is it?”

“It’s just…..do you think he’ll like his suit?” he looked at me with that nervous gaze. WOW Red Alert! Red Alert! We need a confidence boost soon! I took one of his hands in my hand as I rubbed his wrist lightly to calm his nerves.

“Hyung, what’s wrong with you? Where is my usual, confident, to hell with you opinion I know I’m right hyung?” All he did was sigh as he looked down. I pulled his chin up so he was looking at me in eyes as I said-

“Hyung I’m sure he liked it. He is not that hard to please you know. I’m sure he would have liked it even if you would have given him a potato sack to wear. So don’t worry. You should just get ready to be stunned out of your wits when you see him in it!” I told him smirking, which caused him to pull his hand and push me slightly as he smiled. That’s what I was aiming for. From the corner of my eye, I could see Jinki hyung and noona smiling softly.

Key’s POV

I was super nervous. What if he didn’t like it? What if it doesn’t fit him? I should have brought a  spare suit!!!! I couldn’t help but panic. Tae did say he is simple to please, but this is his special day, or one of it. I don’t want to ruin it. Suddenly I heard someone call out to me, as I turned I saw that we had already read the address and everyone was already standing out. As I looked at the open door, I saw Tae looking at me worriedly. I quickly got out and sent him a reassuring smile. I quickly adjusted my hat over my head as we made our way in. Jinki hyung handed all the invittations for our party to the organising crew, who politely smiled and welcomed us. As we walked in, I could see numerous paintings lined up on the wall with their names and write ups put in front of them for people to ready. There were lot of guests walking around, admiring all the paintings and discussing their meanings while sipping on the cocktail. In between one would see a waiter rushing with cocktail trays, replenishing any empty glasses, all the while being careful of the art that was scattered all around the gallery.

Our party slowly started moving in. I could hear Taeyeon Noona’s exclamations regarding the paintings she liked or Jinki hyung’s quiet explanation to Tae of some pieces. Everything was a buzz in my head as my eyes searched for one silhouette in this crowd. And like the first ray of sun after a heavy shower, my eyes caught him. He was across the hall with a few media persons. HE WAS WEARING IT!!!! HE WAS WEARING MY SUIT!!!! I couldn’t help but smile as relief washed over me. I stared at him taking in every detail and I must say it, does look good on him!

Suddenly, he looked over and our eyes met. A charming smile made its way on his lips and he beckoned me to come over. As if caught in some spell, I made my way towards him. When I was at an arm’s distance, he quickly raised his arm for me to take, quickly pulling me next to him. When I was standing next to him he went back to answering the reporters. His move was so smooth and calculated that none of the reporters were able to find my appearance sudden. I was suddenly pulled in opposite direction as I heard him speak-

“And this is my favourite piece in the entire collection.” he told reporters as he showed them the piece. I could hear glee in his voice. When I looked up to see which piece it was, I found myself staring at my own pair of eyes! They were painted beautiful in an array of colours, catching every tiny detail.

I could feel a lump in my throat. That’s when I heard someone ask,

“Who does this pair of eyes belong to Jonghyun-ssi?” I could see him side glance me before he laughed softly and said-

“They belong to a special friend of mine. We had a small misunderstanding recently and he apologised in a creative way, so this is my way of showing him that I accept his apology and would like to cherish this friendship.”

“Is that friend of yours present here?”

“Maybe or maybe not.” he smirked as he replied diverting the topic. From the corner of my eye I caught sight of Jinki hyung and Tae as they made their way over. They had a shocked expression the moment they saw the painting. They kept looking at me and then back to painting as if comparing. Their movements were so synchronised that it was comical to watch!

Jonghyun hyung had walked with the reporters to the next painting. I decided to go and grab something to drink to clear my head. I signalled Tae and hyung that I’ll be getting a drink as I made my way towards the bar area which was set up near a balcony. I grab a glass of wine and made my way toward the balcony. I stood there sipping at it as I let wind blow over me. It was a bit chilly but the cool air helped me clear my thoughts. That painting had raised too many questions in my head. When did he paint it? He said it was his way to show his acceptance of my apology. Just then, I heard a deep voice call out to me-

“Kibum.” I turned around to see Minho standing in the doorway leading to balcony. I couldn’t help but gulp as I remembered our last meeting.

“Go..Good Evening.” I greeted him. He made his way next to me, as he stared down sharply  at me.

“Sorry.”

“Wh..What??”

“I hope you’ll take better care of Jonghyun hyung. He has a very fragile personality. So make sure you think carefully before you saying something and hurting him again.” What the actual !!!! Who does he think he is to talk to me this way!!! Before I could say anything in my defence, I heard a sharp voice-

“Rude!!” As I turned to check who it was, I saw Taeyeon Noona making her way towards us in fast steps as she kept her glare on Minho.

Taeyeon’s POV

I was walking around the gallery trying to find my party, when I heard a deep voice speak rudely to someone just as I was passing the balcony. I decided to take a look to make sure no one was fighting. When I entered the door way I saw Kibumiee standing there with a tall stranger looking down at him. He was the one who said those rude words to our Bum! I could see that Bum was shocked and thinking about what to reply! NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE talks to one of my kids this way and get away with it-

“Rude!!!” I said as I made my way towards them in angry strides. I placed myself in front on Bum, pushing him behind my back to protect him.

“Apologise! Now!” I told the stranger!

“I’m sorry, what?! What should I apologise for?!” he asked arrogantly.

“Apologisse for being rude to him. You had no right to speak to him that way!”

“Listen here lady. That wasn’t me being rude. That was me being nice. You haven’t even seen me being rude.” He said as he smirked at me. Oh, you asked for it! I stomped on his feet with my stilettos!

“AARH!!!!”

“Well then this was me giving you a polite warning. Next time you speak with Bum this way, I guarantee you that you won’t be walking without crutches.” I said as I grabbed Bum’s hand and pulled him with me as I made my way inside.

Minho’s POV

 I bent over, clutching my foot! I couldn’t help but curse –

“WHAT THE HELL? IS SHE CRAZY? !!!! IT HURTS!!!”

Who the hell is she?! Kept ringing in my head as I saw her pull Kibum inside.
