“Are you a homophobic?” Jennie straights up asks the latter who shook her head frantically

“What no! I’m not” Jisoo feels insulted by the accusation of her being homophobic when in fact that she’s one of the active members in advocating LGBTQ’s right in their University.

“Then tell me why can’t you go out with me? We’ll be good together. I’ll treat you well that you won’t regret being my wife”

“Jennie…”

 An unbearable pain suddenly surges out from her chest. Shivers run down her spine and the thought of being rejected by her one true love is tremendously horrifying.

“We came from two different world. What you want is something that I can’t give, and what I need right now is not something that you can provide”

“I can provide you with all the luxurious things in this world could offer. What do you need? A mansion? Luxurious cars? Travelling around the world? You name it? I’d do everything for you”

Jisoo sighs lightly “I’m sorry Jennie. I know there’s someone out there that would be so lucky to have you as their wife” She gives a small smile “It’s unfortunate that I’m not the one”

Jennie stares at the girl of her dream. Only lord knows that her heart is breaking into pieces right now. Her hands has been shaking and she tries so hard not to show any emotion at the latter. For the first time in her life, she feels like she has nothing.

Rumour spreads like rapid fire in this University and that is something that Chaeyoung can never comprehend. The needs that people have, to know everything about everyone just to fill the void in the pit of their stomach is something that the petite girl despise.

Especially if the rumors related to her, or any of her circles.

“What does Nathan wants?” Chaeyoung asks after Jisoo took her place next to her. They were having a nice talk about what had happened in the library a couple of hours ago before Nathan shows up with a box of chocolates and roses (seriously) in his hand. He asked whether he could talk to Jisoo for a bit. Before they went off to have their private conversation, Chaeyoung took the flowers and chocolates since she knows that it wouldn’t be much of a help if her best friend keep on sneezing throughout.

“He asks me out on a date” Jisoo sighs, taking off her jacket before facing Chaeyoung. “This is tiring Chae”

Chaeyoung wraps her arm around the latter’s waist and rubs them slowly. “You’re tense. You need to relax babe”  Chaeyoung took out a bottle of water and a bun and put them in front of her bestfriend. “I got you your fav. Anyway, I throw away the stupid flowers and gave the chocolate to Seth”

“Thanks Chae” Jisoo takes a sip before munching down the bun. Chae caresses Jisoo’s hair, feeling sorry for the latter. She sighs lightly. Jisoo has allergies towards roses and she hates chocolates. Why can’t these people do some research before they try to woo her? Darn lazy bump

“So how’s life at home?”

“Exhausting as per usual”

“How’s the Satan of yours doing at home?” Chae snickers and defend herself as Jisoo starts hitting her playfully

“Don’t talk about my love like that you nincompoop, anyway, my love is doing fine. A little difficult to adjust since I never lived with someone before, but I’ll think I’ll manage. I’m excited about the next step of my life” Jisoo lets out a genuine smile. It has been a disastrous turmoil over the past few months for Jisoo and Chaeyoung glad that her best friend finally gets what she has always wanted.

“Look at you, so smitten already” Chaeyoung nudges the latter’s elbow

“Of course I am” Jisoo smiles

“Well, I’m going to head out in a bit, need to return this to a certain someone” Chaeyoung holds a black gift bag. Jisoo nodded knowing what’s inside them after her best friend told her what had happened this morning.
