CHAPTER NINETEEN
Her Side of the StoryAt the same time, Chung Ae was eating; her hand was slightly shaking, unable to control her hand as the end of the spoon gradually reached into . Eunhee was at the bathroom while Chi Hoon was out buying food for him and Eunhee. Chung Ae stopped eating and slowly getting out of bed without any help from anyone. She was curious whether she could depend on herself, without any sort of help from anyone.
Her legs shook when her foot made contact with the cold flat surface of the floor. She was getting excited, forgetting that she was still holding onto the metal spoon. Step by step she took. Her skinny legs that were slightly covered with bruises, when she was about to reach the door her sides started to hurt. The pain grew along the joints and bones of her body, making it hard for her to move. She tried her best to reach back to her bed where a button was placed in case help was needed.
Her body started to shake uncontrollably, the red button was only inches away from her hand. She collapsed on the floor, shaking, or more like having a small seizure. She failed to reach the button and was left shaking on the freezing tiled floor. The spoon dropped, causing a loud ‘clink’ as it bounced a little. Eunhee had just come back from the bathroom, opening Chung Ae’s door she found her best friend acting out of the ordinary. Eunhee ran and pressed the button, immediately nurses and doctors ran inside. While the nurses tried to hold Chung Ae still, the doctor slowly injected a substance. Chung Ae’s body started to slow down; she was put back onto the bed and was wheeled to another room.
Chung Ae was unconscious on the bed; the doctors pushed the bed passing people in the hospital, heads turned since it was the main source of noise. Chi Hoon saw Chung Ae being wheeled, instantly dropping the food and running to the other side of the bed, Eunhee was on the left side while he was on the right.
“Yah! Wake up! Pabo! Wake up! Don’t scare your Unnie!” Eunhee sobbed as she continued with the speed.
“Don’t be like this okay? Just don’t,” said Chi Hoon who was trying his best to not cry.
Eunhee and Chi Hoon were stopped by a few nurses while Chung Ae was led into a room with professional equipment. Eunhee sat on a seat outside, hiding her face with her hands as she cried while Chi Hoon was praying for Chung Ae to come out safely.
----
Hwa Young and Hoya were in another room of the same hospital. A doctor was carefully wrapping bandage around her arm, her sprained ankle was also neatly bandaged.
“I’ll get you a drink, I’ll be right back,” said Hoya as he left the room. Hoya put a coin into a vending machine; a click was heard before a bottle of water dropped down. He bent down and took the bottle, in the corner of his eye, familiar faces was seen. A loud thud was heard, followed by the swishing of water as the bottle rolled away from the owner. Hoya followed the figures, stopping metres away as 2 out of 3 of them were sitting and crying outside a room.
Chi Hoon was patting Eunhee’s back comforting her with words that he wished he would believe would be true. His attention was shifted where he spotted a male in the distance.
“Hoya.”
