Knowing Jessica for more than 10 years, Yoona knows that Jessica is a cry-baby. She always cries whenever her emotional go on a roller coaster ride. When she’s happy, she cries. When she’s mad, she also cries. However, at this instant, Yoona is very sure that these are not happy tears.

Yoona remembered when Jessica called her two hours ago, she sounded so happy because she will be meeting her girlfriend soon. But just now, when she called Jessica, the older girl is crying and unable to speak at all

“You! Plain stupid!” Hyoyeon cursed under her breath when Taeyeon called her. Yoona and her are still at Jessica’s apartment. Yoona is soothing Jessica to sleep, when Hyoyeon got outside because Taeyeon called her

“I… I just don’t know” Hyoyeon can hears the frustration on Taeyeon’s tone, “I just came outside with Yeri because we are heading to the same direction when Jessica suddenly popped out”

“Daniel Oppa told me that you were being y because of your last fight with Jessica”

“I’m not!”

“Tae…”

“Okay” Taeyeon sighed, “I admit that I was being overly jealous to Jessica about last time and being so ridiculous to her all the time. But she left even before I can explain!”

“Tae, you know all of us will be emotionally unstable when we’re tired right? And Jessica’s like going round and round of the world nowadays”

“I know. I know”

“I’m not taking her side” Hyoyeon changes the position of her phone, “You need to come. I know maybe Jessica would ignore you but you should come and show her that you love her”

“I have… training”

“I don’t care” Hyoyeon huffed, “Listen up Tae, I love you both but seeing Jessica behaving just like a dead log, I wonder if you can maintain your relationship in the future”

There’s a short pause between them before Taeyeon finally speaks

“I will be there”

“Good. Jessica’s flight is 2 PM tomorrow”

Jessica feels like she’s sleeping in comfort. She just remembered that Yoona was soothing her and Hyoyeon also pats her back until she’s asleep

But now, she wonders if Yoona using Taeyeon’s perfume because it smells just like Taeyeon

Jessica rubbed her heavy eyes, it takes just two seconds for her to realize that it’s not Yoona nor Hyoyeon who sleeps beside her. But Taeyeon.

Jessica jolted awake and she can’t handle her tears again. She covers and started sobbing slowly.

Hearing some muffled sound, Taeyeon opens her eyes and found that Jessica is up and crying, again

“Sica…” Taeyeon whispered, she curves her hand who placed below Jessica’s head to makes the younger girl closer. Taeyeon slowly untangled the hand which covered the mouth and starts leaning closer. She was about to peck those lips when Jessica retracts

“Sicababy?”

Jessica just shook her head, “I’m… I’m thirsty” Jessica wanted to release from the hug but Taeyeon tugs her more. She’s back into her embrace. Her logic wants her to yank those arms away but her heart said the opposite. Instead, she’s burying her head into Taeyeon’s embrace

After caressing Jessica’s back for a while, Taeyeon pulled a bit and looking at Jessica’s face, eyes are still puffy and droplets of tears are still on her cheeks

“I’ll get you some water” said Taeyeon while caressing Jessica’s cheeks

Sighing in frustration, Taeyeon takes a mug and poured the water. She glanced at the clock and it’s already 3 in the morning.

Jessica’s teary eyes and face makes Taeyeon wants to hug and kiss her, but the latter rejected the kiss before she can even kiss the tears away.

“What should I do, Sica?”

Jessica is seated up when Taeyeon walked back to the room. She hands the mug and takes a seat beside her, slowly wrapping her arms around Jessica’s waist and caressing with her thumb, giving the calm feeling to her girlfriend. Jessica put her mug back on the nightstand before pulling Taeyeon into bed

Taeyeon moves another hand to hug Jessica and put her chin on top Jessica’s head, when the latter snuggling into her neck

“Sicababy, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to go out with Yeri. We just happened to be going to the same direction”

Taeyeon can sensed Jessica nods on her embrace, but she’s still not talking. This is what Taeyeon is most afraid of. She can handle seeing Jessica’s tears and wrath but not her silence.

“Sica, I…” Taeyeon stops in the middle because Jessica tighten their hug, indicating that she won’t hear anything from Taeyeon again

So, Taeyeon just caressing her back and kissed the top of her head while whispering “Sleep tight. I love you”
