Jessica sighed while reading her report. She should be presenting this new idea in front of SM’s Creative Team. It’s her newest project with Irene Kim. As she is a model with the company that is part of SM, she has to consider that she is making a deal with her former agency.

Her doorbell rang while she is waiting for her toast to be ready. She walked with furrowed brows to the door as she is not expecting any visit this early. 

Jessica opened the door and find that dorky smile is coming for her

“I heard someone is nervous” Taeyeon cheekily smiled, “I bought your favorite”

“Taengoo” Jessica can’t hide her wide grin, “How come?”

“I have trusted agents”

“Soojung…”

“And Amber. Also Irene” Taeyeon grinned again, “So, what’s for breakfast?”

“Ah” Jessica startled, “I have toast for breakfast, do you want some?”

“Sure”

Jessica is taking the sips to her Green Tea Latte with Taeyeon busy munching the toast. This morning is so serene and Jessica wishes for the time to just stop for the both of them.

“Still nervous?” Taeyeon asked when Jessica just playing with her straw

“Hmm, not really”

“Good then” Taeyeon ruffled Jessica’s golden brown hair which makes the younger girl pouted, “Now, ready to go?”

Jessica nodded and let Taeyeon helps her bringing her stuffs. She supposed to be coming alone because she said her team to go first, but Taeyeon insisted. Jessica nodded and let Taeyeon helps to pack and bring her stuffs. She is supposed to be heading alone to SM. However, Taeyeon insisted for the two of them to go together, with the excuse that SM is her agency and that she needs to drop by the agency as Jessica voiced out her worries

“Can you drive me back too?” Jessica asked, full of hope

“Of course, Sica”

The meeting itself is smooth, with some revisions. SM agrees on Jessica’s idea with Irene and they requested another meeting after Jessica and her team does the revisions

“Good job!” Irene hugging Jessica aside in whom the younger girl grinned widely, “I heard you are here with Taeyeon”

“Oops” Jessica giggled, “She picked me up this morning”

“Smooth. So, I can’t bring you to dinner this night?”

“Sorry, not tonight”

“It’s okay” Irene teased, “We have more time”

“You make me sound like a super busy person”

“Is it true? Hahaha” Irene laughed, "Anyway, how're you feeling? On coming back here again?"

“It’s not the same again. The feeling when you’re back again with another title, it feels so different”

“Their idol and now, a Creative Director of her own brand?” Irene teased again, “I’m proud of you, Jess”

“Thank you, for coming up with the idea of collaborating."

“You are very welcome”

Their conversation is being cut when Taeyeon appears with her wide smile

“Hello, girls”

“Oops, the princecess charming is here” Irene winked which makes Jessica pinched her waist

“Hahaha, can I take this princess?”

“Of course”

“I’ll see you later, Unnie” Jessica waved her hand to the grinning Unnie

“I heard the meeting was smooth” said Taeyeon when Jessica is fixing herself on the passenger seat

“Yep. They gave me the chance and I need to do the revisions with my team”

“So proud of you, Sica” Taeyeon takes Jessica’s hand and caressing it gently, “You did well”

“Thank you, Tae”

Their hands still attaching each other. Jessica looking deeply at Taeyeon’s onyx orbs when the latter also locking her eyes to the brunette. Slowly, Taeyeon leaned closer while whispering

“Don’t move”

Jessica remains on her position and closing her eyes. She can feel Taeyeon’s minty breath already when the latter’s phone ringing

She wanted to ignore but Jessica afraid if it’s important

“Your phone, Taeyeon”

Taeyeon retracts herself before taking her phone. Jonghyun’s sister is calling her

“Hello?”

Jessica couldn’t believe herself. Jonghyun’s sister called Taeyeon and told the latter that Jonghyun is in critical condition because of his suicide attempt

Taeyeon drove so fast to the hospital. Her eyes are nowhere

“Sica” Taeyeon called Jessica who leaned her back at the hospital’s couch. Both of them look tired yet they still staying

“How is he?”

“The doctors still trying…”

“Here” Jessica patted her side to Taeyeon. The older girl nods before plopping herself beside Jessica. She immediately reached over to holds Jessica’s hand

“I’m here” Jessica said, “I’m here with you”

It lasted for a while before Jonghyun’s sister comes and telling the girls that Jonghyun is gone

He is gone

Jessica is trying so hard to hold onto Taeyeon. The older girl is breaking down and screaming in pain. Jessica could see the pain and also felt the pain as well.

“Where are you now?” Krystal phoned her sister. Since the news spread that Jonghyun was in critical condition and brought to ICU, Krystal can’t called her sister

“Jonghyun’s funeral house”

“How… Are you with Taeyeon Unnie?”
