Day 10: Sales
Gingerbread and TinselThere are three things Hyukjae can rely on: the sun will rise in the east, water will boil at one hundred degrees Celcius, and Donghae will spent all of his money on Christmas sales.
He stares at the pile of purchases sitting innocuously on the kitchen table. There are bags of books, recipe books, clothes, CDs, candles and chocolates piled so high he can’t quite see the kitchen properly.
Crossing his arms, he leans against the counter and peers into the bags. What he sees nearly gives him a heart attack. “DONGHAE!”
There’s a moment of silence, and then Donghae pops his head into the room. “Yes?”
“What is all this ?” he asks, “how the hell did you spent a hundred on chocolate?!”
“The sales,” Donghae groans, stepping into the kitchen with a bright orange bag hanging from his arm. “The sales got me.”
“Yeah, the sales got you with my money,” Hyukjae grumbles. “What’s that?”
“Tea!” Donghae grins, ignoring Hyukjae’s immediate glare. “Don’t worry, half of it was my money and I pay you back in cooking anyway. Look! Christmas themed tea! The cinnamon one smells so good, and the mulled wine smells amazing, I bet you’ll love it.”
Hyukjae can only sigh. “Donghae, you are a consumer.”
My word's spell check isn't really working. And by not working I mean I can make deliberate typos and it gives me a little tick and no suggestions if I misspell a word. Please tell me if something's wrong
