After deciding to participate in Produce 101 Season 2, Daniel’s goal was just at least to reach top 35 and gain a little bit of popularity, and hoped that everything will go well starting from then. With Daniel’s bubbly personality, he easily gained friends regardless their age. Daniel enjoyed his days in produce 101, completing mission one after another and although he is competitive, but he always let friendships come first than anything.

Daniel has never pay attention before but ever since the first week’s rank revealed and Park Jihoon claimed the spot. Although Daniel had never talked or interacted with the said boy, Daniel had been curious about the boy and unconsciously paying close attention to him. 

“Park Jihoon, born in 1999 from Maroo Entertainment, because of his wink gaining a lot of interest from netizens and become so popular. He looks cute but contrary to what appears on broadcast, he has different personality when off camera” Jisung told him one day.

“What?” Daniel woke up from his trance and stare at the group’s so called mom

“You’ve been staring at him for a good half hour, I was just providing you with some information” Jisung said nonchalantly. “What’s up with the wink boy? Are you interested in him?”

“What? No! Of course not. Why would I?"

Jisung eyed Daniel sceptically then said, “If you say so”. Daniel and his MMO trainees’ friends are sitting at the canteen for dinner when Jihoon with his group of friends from the B class came in and occupy an empty spot in front of Daniel. Daniel did not know when it started but when he realized it, his eyes keep following the wink boy. Daniel shook his head, thinking this is not the time to be interested in another trainee, he is in a competition, everyone here are supposed to be his rival (though he prefer all of them to be friends) including his friends from MMO. He needs to focus and show his skill so that the national producer noticed and vote for
