Seongwu grinned to himself as he texted Youngbyeol.

Seongwu: Are you there yet? I’m omw.

Youngbyeol: Yeah, we’re here!

He frowned a bit as he texted rapidly, fingers tapping on his phone.

Seongwu: We’re?

His jaw went slack as he looked at the reply.

Youngbyeol: Yeah, I thought we were hanging with the boys as usual. So I brought them here. Where are you rn?

Seongwu: 5 more min, I’m almost there.

When he arrived at the escape room, he looked at the group of people waiting in front of the building, and saw Youngbyeol. He grinned, but then immediately frowned when he saw Daniel, Jinyoung, and Minhyun standing next to her as they laughed as Youngbyeol cracked a joke.

He took a deep breath, plastered a smile on his face, and jogged over.

“You guys ready?” He grinned.

Daniel gave him a fistbump. “Of course, I’ve been ready since day one.”

Jinyoung eyed the building warily.

“I heard it’s a horror escape room. Like haunted house themed.”

Minhyun smiled. “It won’t be that scary.”

Youngbyeol stood there horrified. She turned around to face Seongwu, who grinned sheepishly.

“You know that I hate scary stuff? Why?” She whined, and Minhyun ruffled her hair as Seongwu’s eye twitched in annoyance.

Yeah, he chose something scary because he wanted to have an experience where he could feel like he could protect her, it would’ve been a cute date. But no, she HAD to be close with his guy friends.

The guys headed in, but Seongwoo pulled her aside.

“Why’d you bring them?” He hissed as he tried to not act annoyed.

Youngbyeol tilted her head in confusion.

“We always hang out with them, what do you mean?”
