I WANT YOU [ONESHOT REQUEST BOX OPEN]
During lunch, Sooyeon was in the gym, quietly studying while others were in the cafeteria, loudly eating and talking with their friends. Since day one at this school, she hadn’t been able to make any friends, for everyone was so tight in their cliques. Only one person had decided to be nice to her, and that was Daehwi sunbae.
She started to space out as she thought about him. He had helped her carry her books to her first class, and was very nice, and had the brightest smile. He was never rude to anyone, and was always respectful towards all the teachers, which made all the girls at school fall for him.
She sighed. She, the outcast and wallflower of the school, would never have a chance with the most popular guy in the basketball team. She turned back to her chemistry homework, shaking her head as she wrote down more equations, and shuffled through her elements flashcards, studying for the upcoming chemistry test tomorrow.
All of a sudden, the door opened, and someone walked in, carrying a basketball. They started to dribble, and shot a three pointer with ease before starting a series of dunk shots.
Sooyeon slowly got up, not wanting to disturb the player’s practice, and went down the bleacher stairs, somehow holding all her junk in her arms. However, on the very last step, she clumsily tripped and fell over.
All of her binders and papers clattered onto the floor, and she hid her face in embarrassment as footsteps walked over to her.
“Are you okay?” A warm voice asked, taking on a tone of worry.
She looked up to see deep brown eyes, and recognized Daehwi sunbae helping her up.
His eyes widened in recognition. “Sooyeon! What are you doing here alone?”
He started to help her pick up her things.
“I was here to study for chemistry.” She mumbled, cheeks flushing red when his hand brushed against hers when he handed her the binder.
“Really? Why were you about to leave? Was I disturbing you? Do you want me to leave?” Daehwi shot up, rambling.
