“Sejeong, come on, you said you would come!” Her friend, Mina, whined over the phone as Sejeong briskly walked to her desk at the office, holding the phone up to her ear.

“I never promised you. You know that I don’t have time for parties.” She opened her laptop, plugging in the drawing pad before starting to open the new file that contained her newest designs.

“But you have time!”

Sejeong rolled her eyes as she pushed her glasses back onto the bridge of her nose.

“No, I don’t. I have a convention in Busan I have to attend tonight with Mr. Heo.”

“Mr. Heo, Mr. Heo, at this rate, I think you’re just using him as an excuse!” Mina continued to complain.

“Excuse or not, it is valid and true, so stop whining. You know how important work is to me.” Sejeong chided as she started to fill in the colors.

“Fine.” Mina grumbled and hung up, and Sejeong sighed tiredly at her friend’s antics. Of course, she loved every single one of her friends, but sometimes they were unbearable.

She hummed to herself as she finished out the rough sketches. This wasn’t technically part of her job, but as she learned from Mr. Heo, practice could never do any harm.

Sighing, she packed her stuff together as she got ready to leave for the train.
