“SEONGWOO!!!!” Sarang screamed as she heard her boyfriend’s raucous laughter from downstairs.

Her boyfriend appeared at the door, and doubling over in laughter when he saw Sarang’s petrified face.

“Oppa, please don’t do this, you know I hate cockroaches.” Sarang sighed as she saw her room littered with rubber cockroaches, set up by her boyfriend to prank her.

He kept on laughing, and she got irritated, and blew a breath.

“I’m sick and tired of these pranks, please stop.” Sarang whined, crossing her arms over her shoulders, as if it could protect her from all the fake cockroaches in the room.

“Okay, okay, I promise, I’ll stop.” He stopped laughing, but couldn’t stop grinning.

Sarang let out a sigh. “Oh, seriously.”

He burst out in laughter again at her exasperated face.

Sarang hummed as she skipped home from work. Today was her birthday, and she wanted to spend it relaxing and having a movie night with Seongwoo. She walked to her apartment, and looked surprised when the door was slightly ajar.

She carefully stepped in, making sure that no one was inside. However, she let out a terrified scream when a man in a black mask, shirt, and pants was in there, holding a wooden stick.

Memories flooded her brain as her past started to appear in front of her. Hyperventilating, she breathed hard, and sobs racked her chest as her head started to hurt, and tears sli
