Of Halloween & Dares
Pabo in WonderlandPrologue
I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it
That explains the trouble I'm always in
Alice didn't know that curiousity could kill the cat.
It was a cool Halloween night.
Sookie met up with her friends, all of them in costume, and was prepared to go to a Halloween party. They were on their way, until she felt something drawing her towards the infamous haunted house people warned against going near after the incident with the little girl and boy trick-or-treating.
Did that stop people from ignoring the warning?
Nope. But they learned their lesson the hard way, nearly flying out of the house in their fear.
Guess she was one of those stupid punks now too.
"I really think we shouldn't be in here." Jade spoke up, ever the reasonable one.
"Nonsense! You don't really believe that this place is haunted, do you JiJi?" Sookie waved off her concern flippantly.
"You were the one who made a powerpoint presentation about the history of this house saying so!"
"Oh yeah."
"A powerpoint? Really?" BamBam asked amused.
"I had to use one for my business class."
"Ah."
"Is it me, or is it suddenly really cold in here?" Yugyeom pointed out the drastic change in temperature.
"You know what that means..."
"BamBam, don't say it."
"... that ghosts are in this room."
And I love the change, should something strange begin
Not wanting to be late to DK's party, and not wanting any frostbitten body parts, Jade dragged Sookie out by the ear, ignoring her complaining as Yugyeom and BamBam laughed at their friend's pain.
Sookie thought DK's Halloween party was awesome though, so the night wasn't ruined.
Yet she still found herself going to the house by herself the following day.
It was light out, there was no way that the ghosts would be out haunting right now.
"I'm back! Try and scare me away this time, ghosties! I'm not so easily scared!"
