Chapter 20
His BrotherI had started writing this so it was an easy task. sorry it took so long. it's difficult to write when they aren't active. :(
Hyesung held his head and groaned. “He is mental,” he mumbled. “Thanks,” with a smile on his face, Hyesung received the mug of coffee from Eric. “And…thank you again for coming to save me.” he blushed a little bit.
“Anytime,” Eric sat down across him. Minwoo and Dongwan were waiting for the cops outside. Chilhyun had left so abruptly, they had no idea how long he’d be gone – or where he’d gone. Cops needed to see the apartment. “So, you’re in love with someone else, huh?” Eric asked. “Anyone I know?”
“You don’t know many people,” Hyesung responded dryly. The small sips from the warm coffee helped his headache a little bit. “So, I don’t know what to respond.”
Eric squeezed his lips together. “Is it Dongwan…?” he whispered. “He is way too short for you and you would get super tired of his jokes really fast. Plus, I think he and Minwoo have something going on and, well, he is—”
“It’s not Dongwan.” Hyesung said sternly. “It is someone dumb.”
“Dumb?” Eric leaned back. “There are many dumb people. Chungjae is dumb.”
“But he is not dumb like you,” Hyesung realised what he said. The look on his face revealed everything, as if he was fully in front of the older man.
“Like me?” Eric furrowed his eyebrows. “You…I see.”
Hyesung put the mug of coffee down. “Listen, you don’t have to think about this and, god, I beg of you to forget it. Don’t bring it up or tell anyone. I am already embarrassed enough that it’s been so long. I mean…I know you were serious with Andy. And that, it’s honestly just too late now. I should probably go see what Minwoo and Dongwan are doing, right?” he chuckled awkwardly and scurried out.
Eric had to process the words he had just been rambled. “I see…” he mumbled suddenly. “It’s me.”
“Hi, Chilhyun hyung,” Junjin greeted the older man. “How are Podo and Jackson?”
“They are excellent.” The man replied. “They miss their daddy, but I am going to tell them you are fine.”
“Good,” Junjin smirked. “Would you like to come inside?”
“Of course,” Chilhyun stepped into the apartment. “Where is Andy?”
Junjin looked around and then whispered. “He is sleeping in the guest room.” he grabbed the other man’s hands and stared into his almond shaped eyes. “I actually…” Chilhyun’s eyes widened when Junjin moved closer to him. “…he doesn’t have to know about this, right?” The singer murmured.
“Oh, Chungjae,” Chilhyun sighed. “You do love me…”
“Of course, I do,” Junjin confessed. “I realised while being here that you are the love of my life.”
Chilhyun followed the singer to the living room. They were holding hands and being very close to one another. His heart was beating. His plan had worked. He had made it work. Junjin was in love with him. What he had wanted since they had met, had finally come true. “I love you, Chungjae…” Chilhyun sang, lips hovering over Junjin’s. “Please, tell me how much you love me…”
“I love you so much,” Junjin assured. “Andy is nothing compared to you.”
“Please, tell me more,” Chilhyun could see they were heading toward the bedroom. “Oh, Chungjae, tell me more.”
Junjin turned them around, now leading the older man to the bedroom. The door was about to meet Chilhyun’s back, but the singer opened it swiftly like he had done it often – and Chilhyun knew he did do it often. “I love you so much…I want to marry you,” Junjin recited. “I should’ve seen it immediately. You are so beautiful.”
The door opened and they entered the bedroom. Junjin cupped the face. Chilhyun stared at him, eyes soft and lustful. “Chilhyun hyung,” The younger man said gently. “I just want you to know…”
“Yes…?”
“You are disgusting.” Junjin mumbled coldly.
“What…?” Chilhyun was still in a trance, until he realised. “What?!” he shouted. “I will kill you! I will kill you and that of yours, I will--!” only a loud ‘bong’ was heard, and Junjin stepped back. Andy was panting, standing on the bed, holding the frying pan above his head.
Junjin exhaled, and grabbed Andy by the hand. “Come,” they hurried out of the bedroom, closed the door, and locked it. “I don’t know how long that will hold him.” Junjin was panicky. He was so filled with adrenaline that he couldn’t almost function.
“We should get out of here,” Andy’s voice trembled.
“Yeah,” Junjin nodded. “Let’s get out of here.”
Chilhyun had been so surprised by the sudden affection that he had not noticed Junjin leaving something between the door and the wall. It was ajar. They didn’t grab anything with them, they just needed to get out of there. Once outside, Junjin didn’t stop. He didn’t halt. He dragged Andy behind him until they were far enough from the building.
They were panting.
The weather was lovely though it was night.
