Chapter 10
His BrotherCouple months later:
The manager walked out of the elevator and advanced the apartment at the very end of the hallway. He was tapping his phone, skimming through dozens of emails. He stood in front of the door for a brief second, and then knocked the door. While he was waiting for a response, light barking happened behind him.
“Maximum, calm down,” A man begged. “You can bark when we are outside, okay?”
Minwoo greeted the man, bowing deeply, and then flashed a smile. “I haven’t seen you in a while, Kangta,” he said.
“I was sick, unfortunately, but now I am fine again,” the tall man chuckled. “Are you here to see Chungjae?” he interrogated, while meddling with the leash of the adorable bulldog. Minwoo nodded. “He probably is back soon,” Kangta smiled and walked off.
When he was at the elevator, Junjin stepped out and greeted his neighbour, grinning widely. Minwoo rolled his eyes and when the younger man was next to him, he slapped the back of his head. “What was that for!?” Junjin whined, rubbing the aching spot.
“Stop flirting with people!” Minwoo mumbled jealously.
“I was not flirting! That is Kangta!” Junjin argued while unlocking the door.
Minwoo scoffed and as soon as the door was open, he marched inside. He noticed a pair of unrecognisable shoes and turned to Junjin. “Is Andy here?” he asked. Junjin turned pale. “Did Andy spend the night here?”
“No!” Junjin yelled. “I wasn’t with Andy! I would never be with him!” his heart was aching when he yelled at the manager. “And it wasn’t Hyesung either.” he cut Minwoo short. “It was Dongwan hyung.” Junjin threw the keys to the table and took off his jacket. “He spent the night here.
“You mean, Kim Dongwan?” Minwoo immediately perked up. “He was here?”
Junjin was just about to say something, when the half- man exited the bathroom and complained about the scent of the shampoo. Then he noticed Minwoo and smirked. “Hello there,” Dongwan bowed. “You must be the manager.”
“We have met before…” Minwoo spoke shyly.
“Oh, yes,” Dongwan didn’t remember meeting the manager before, but only because he met a lot of people. “Of course, I remember a face like yours.”
Junjin rolled his eyes and then clapped his hands together. “Okay, enough of this . What is it you want, Minwoo hyung?” The manager cleared his throat after that ual remark and then crossed his arms over his chest.
“You have a schedule today, remember?” Junjin didn’t remember. “You are on that panel show with Shin Hyesung!” Minwoo reminded. “Remember now?!”
“Oh yeah,” Junjin nodded. “I do remember.”
Minwoo leered at the actor and then smiled, before he turned back to his client. “So, I have the outfit for you.” he placed the clothes on a back of the chair. “You will have your hair and face done at the venue.” Minwoo hurried.
“We are going now?!” Junjin whined.
“Yes!” Minwoo squealed. “Go, go, go!”
“A new year’s party?” Andy questioned, looking at the invitation. “You want to hold New Year’s party?” he repeated, while Eric was staring at him.
“Yes,” The older man nodded eagerly. “I want to have a big party where I can kiss you when it’s midnight.” he poked Andy’s nose.
The younger man giggled and then he noticed an invitation on the desk. “Chungjae will come…?” he asked silently.
“I had to invite him,” Eric blinked his eyes. “It is good press if my little brother is invited. You have no idea what people are willing to pay when they see him there.” he took the invitation. “Besides, he will be surrounded by the girls when he comes, me and you will not be seeing him.” Eric smirked and then pecked the lips. “Okay?”
“Okay,” Andy semi-smiled.
Eric was not making his life easy. But he deserved to be suffering like this. Eric was smart. He knew which strings to pull. He was making sure Andy regretted sleeping with Junjin. And he sure did. It was already horrible to even see his name in the invitation. But Eric was right. He couldn’t hate him if he wanted to be successful.
“Remember, me and you…first kiss in the new year.” Er
