The kiss had lasted for as long as Hakyeon remembered. The touch of Taekwoon’s lips had sent chill down to his spine the moment Hakyeon responded to it. He felt the tremor ran down all the way to his fingertips before he fisted on Taekwoon’s shirt, tight, as if channelling his fear, his worries, his love and his needs. Hakyeon had been timid, but, Taekwoon led him, slow and soft, filled with the love and care he felt for the other.

Eventually, Hakyeon’s grip grew loose. He relaxed into the kiss, just like how he always did whenever Taekwoon comforted him with his hugs. When they broke away, Taekwoon rested his forehead against Hakyeon’s, eyes still closed. “I won’t…ever leave you and your baby…” He whispered.

Hakyeon had traces of dried tears on his cheeks but his lips still trembled in effort to say something. In the end, Hakyeon slowly nodded to Taekwoon’s words, not trusting his voice yet. He nodded again when he pulled away for a bit from Taekwoon just so he could look at the latter’s face.

“I…” Hakyeon croaked, his hand softly cupping Taekwoon’s cheek. “I want to trust you…” He said finally though there was still hints of fear and hesitant in his eyes. However, Hakyeon had decided he wanted to give Taekwoon the chances he deserved. With the kiss they had just now, Hakyeon realized just how much he longed for a companion, and love from someone who was more than just a friend in his life. He longed for someone to fill the spot Hongbin left empty in his heart. For someone to help him ease the pain of being alone. And Taekwoon seemed to be the one for him. This time, Hakyeon had let his heart to decide for him. Maybe this time, he won’t be too afraid to face his insecurities with Taekwoon by his side.

Taekwoon had a tiny smile forming on his lips as a single tear rolled down his cheek upon hearing those words from Hakyeon. He felt touchded, too relieved to hear his answer. He brought Hakyeon’s hand that was cupping his cheek to his lips where he placed his kiss on it. Long. The bliss he felt was beyond words. Though he would figure that Hakyeon was still shaken on his decision but it was more than enough for him to prove himself to Hakyeon.

As a reply, Taekwoon nodded, murmuring soft words of ‘thank you’ as he pulled Hakyeon into his embrace. “We will take it slow… hm..?” And right then, Taekwoon felt Hakyeon nodded in his arms.

Jaehwan was almost skipping his way to the front door of the villa, hand in hand with Wonsik because today he wanted Hakyeon to finally meet the love of his life whom he had been talking about. Wonsik had been ecstatic when Jaehwan had uttered that idea. He easily agreed and was fast to ask for Master Jung’s permission to head back to work late.

He got the green light from his boss and here he was, skipping away with his cute Jaehwan-hyung. Also, he had been looking forward to see Taekwoon’s shocked face when he learnt that Wonsik would be here. Jaehwan had told him earlier what to expect when they arrived at the villa; Hakyeon-hyung will be sitting with his bloated stomach at the dining hall. Maybe Wonsik could see few of the cupcakes he baked if Hakyeon-hyung and Taekwoon-hyung had not finish them all.

But to his surprise there were nothing like Jaehwan had visualized. Instead it was something more shocking and bold. Even more so because it involved their poker-face Young Master Taekwoon. It was not even at the dining hall, but the living room. They saw Taekwoon lip-locking with Hakyeon. One of Taekwoon’s hand was at the back of Hakyeon’s neck, the other was slowly circling Hakyeon’s waist while both of Hakyeon’s hands were on Taekwoon’s waist. Their head tilting and they stayed like that for quiet some time, oblivious to Jaehwan and Wonsik who stood with their eyes widened.

Wonsik and Jaehwan had not able to take their eyes off the two and they had stayed frozen until Hakyeon and Taekwoon pulled away from the kiss. Even then, the two had their foreheads connected to each other, their lips moving. The pair acted as if they were only the two of them in the villa when clearly Wonsik and Jaehwan’s fottsteps could be heard. Curiosity got the best of Jaehwan and he boldly took a step closer to both Hakyeon and Taekwoon before Wonsik pulled him back harshly. “The back door might be better, hyung.”

Jaehwan grumbled lowly. “No!” He whispered. “Hakyeon-hyung cried… don’t you see?” He justified his acts, finger pointing at the two figure in the living room.

Wonsik followed where Jaehwan had been pointing. Then, his eyes tried hard to scan the truth abouth his lover’s statement. But nowhere could he be sure of what Jaehwan told him. He almost thought that Jaehwan had super vision to notice such small details.

“I need to know what Taekwoon-hyung had been doing that Hakyeon-hyung cried like that…” Jaehwan continued, a little hint of anger laced his voice as his eyebrows frowned.

Wonsik shook his head in disagreement. For a while there he was quite taken aback by how defensive Jaehwan sounded. “No hyung… It’s their private time..” He whispered, sounding strict as Jaehwan made another effort to get in between Hakyeon and Taekwoon.

“But, Hakyeon-hyung cried for God’s sake… I can’t just let it be!” Jaehwan retaliated, pulling his hand away from Wonsik’s grip harshly. For the countless occasions Hakyeon had spent his time with Jaehwan at the villa, Jaehwan had became attached to the older. They got close real quick thanks to Jaehwan’s cute and friendly nature. Hence it was understandable that Jaehwan would get so defensive when it came to his ‘older brother’ getting hurt. Wonsik knew the two had grew closer each day but he never expected it was up to the point where Jaehwan was getting mad to his own employer.

Wonsik was back at trying to abstract Jaehwan from making his move. “Hyung!” He called for Jaehwan, whispering louder than before. “Taekwoon-hyung will get mad at you… Jaehwan-”

“Kim Wonsik.” Taekwoon’s authoritative voice caught Wonsik’s attention. He had not realized that the small commotion that Jaehwan and he caused was actually getting bigger and noisier that it finally diverted Taekwoon’s and Hakyeon’s attention to them.

Hakyeon had notice Wonsik’s unfamiliar face but he kept quiet as Taekwoon’s hand was holding him by his shoulder. He had no more energy left to speak. Hence the tiny smile and brief nod he gave to Wonsik.
