Chapter 10: Tiffany

“Sunny…wake up!”

“Ugh…A little while more…”

“Sunny! Do you want breakfast or not?!”

“I want my sleep…”

“SUNNY! DO YOU WANT A PUNCH ON YOUR FACE?”

“…YAH!ANIYOOOO! Aish....”

Sunny shot up right with Yuri’s threat, earning herself a smirk from Yuri.

Sunny groaned and made her way to the toilet slowly.

“I’m telling you Sunny, I’m giving you 5 minutes before I leave!”

Yuri shouted from outside the toilet, grinning secretly.

Inside the toilet, Sunny winced.

She washed up, change and did her hair all in five minutes before rushing out of the toilet.

“Yah!You’re late by 14 seconds.”

“You actually timed me?”

Yuri laughed as she slung her arm around Sunny’s shoulders, making Sunny break out into laughter too.

And they walked out, linking arms and laughing.

“I wonder where Yuri is…”

Nichkhun muttered to himself as he glanced around the cafeteria.

“Who’s Yuri?”

An equally soft voice whispered, breathing hot air down Nichkhun’s neck.

Nichkhun jumped in shock and turned around to see a pretty lady staring back at him.

Tiffany.

“Tiffany…”

“Yah! Why are you calling me Tiffany? You used to call me by my nickname, remember?”

“Right…Uhm, long time no see, Fany.”

“Ah yes, do you miss me, My dear Khunnie?”

Tiffany whispered seductively, caressing his face with her hand.

Uh Oh.

Nichkhun looked around nervously, his face getting paler with Tiffany’s presence and spotted Yuri.

Yuri, you’re my saviour.

“Hey Fany, got to go, I see my friend.”

“Wait-“

Before Tiffany could finish her sentence, Nichkhun had already scooted over to greet Yuri.

Nichkhun’s face had broken into a huge smile as Yuri muttered something to him.

Tiffany frowned in disgust.

So that’s the Yuri girl Nichkhun was looking for.

Who is she anyway?

Who gives her the power to make Nichkhun smile like that?!

No one will steal my Nichkhun away.

“Yuri! “

Yuri looked up from her plate to see a pale-faced Nichkhun.

“Did you see a ghost, or did you simply put make-up?”

Nichkhun smiled widely.

Yuri, you had no idea how happy I was to see you.

So I could get away from Tiffany.

Nichkhun shuddered at the very thought of Tiffany.

“Hi Nichkhun!”

Sunny greeted Nichkhun happily, as she sat down to join Yuri in her breakfast.

“Hey Sunny.”

“Woah, you look rather pale, gwenchanayo?”  [Translation:Woah,you look rather pale,are you okay?]

“That’s what I asked him, Sunny.”

Nichkhun flashed his killer smile and raised his eyebrows.

“I didn’t know you were so concerned about me, Yuri”

Yuri rolled her eyes and grabbed Sunny without a word.

“Sunny, let’s go for class now.”

“Wae? I just started eating!”

“Don’t be such a glutton.”

“But I’m hungry-“

Yuri tapped her foot impatiently, giving Sunny the cue.

Sunny pouted and got up, eyeing her leftover breakfast sadly.

At least I won’t get a scolding from Yuri later.

Nichkhun, as usual, was left behind smirking.

“Yuri ahh, do you hate Nichkhun that much?”

“Hate’s a powerful word, Sunny. I won’t use that on Nichkhun, maybe annoyed would be a better word.”

“How can you ever be annoyed at such a charming person, Yuri?”

“He isn’t the type of person I’ll call charming.”

“Yuri ahh, if he isn’t charming, then who is?”

Yuri’s mind flew to Ho, the handsome stranger she met yesterday.

Now that’s my idea of charming.

I wonder if he’ll still be at the staircase tonight…

“Earth to Yuri!”

Sunny snapped her fingers in front of Yuri’s face.

“Bwoh?”

“You were spacing out early in the morning, Yuri. What were you thinking of?”

“Nothing…”

Sunny cocked her eyebrow suspiciously and decided to let the matter rest as she hummed her favourite song, Oh!

“Uhm Sunny?”

Yuri interrupted Sunny’s humming.

“Neh?”

“You should know almost everyone in this school right?”

“You can say so.”

“Do you know anyone by the nickname of Ho?”

“Ho? That’s a really weird nickname.”

“I guess that pretty much sums up your answer to me. You don’t know anyone with that nickname, do you?”

“Mianhe, Yuri.” [Translation: Sorry, Yuri]

Yuri pouted, who are you exactly, Ho?
