Byul was the first one to notice Namjoon’s and Taehyung’s lack of a presence. She was watching Jungkook attempt to wipe Suga’s absurd score list, every single initial was something crude and they decided they were going to wipe all of the score boards clean.

             She was about to turn to see if Taehyung wanted to have ago too because Jungkook was struggling at a particular level and Hoseok and Jimin were busy trying to wipe an extremely bad word off of a shooting game.

“Jungkook?” She called him as her eyes scanned the arcade.

“I’m almost there,” Jungkook told her “Come on!”

“Jungkook, Namjoon and Taehyung are missing.” She said with panic rising in her voice, her eyes darted from one end of the arcade to the other.

“Wait what?” He spun, the game flashing game over as his eyes too scanned the arcade “Oh .”

“Couldn’t beat it, huh?” Suga laughed as he came over to the two and then he realised the looks on their faces “What’s wrong?”

“Tae and Nam are missing,” Jungkook said moving towards Hoseok “Hobi, have you seen Namjoon or Tae?”

“Hobi?” Byul repeated, turning to look at Jin.

Jin laughed “Let’s not get into nicknames right now, please?”

“Of course not,” Hoseok didn’t take his eyes off the video game at once. “Why? Out of coins?”

“What’s up?” Jimin asked.

“We can’t seem to find them.” Jungkook raked his fingers through his dark hair and released a sigh.

“What did you say?” Hoseok stopped and spun to face them “When was the last time you saw them?”

“When we got here,” Byul answered “You don’t think...?”

“,” Suga began to pace “We need to find them now.”

“I second that,” Jin nodded firmly “Where do we start?”

             Meanwhile Namjoon and Taehyung were running as fast as they could, Namjoon vaguely aware of the fact his painkillers were wearing off and the dull ache was beginning to return to his legs and lower abdomen, but he had to keep running, he couldn’t afford to get caught now, especially with Taehyung.

             They both could hear the sirens in the distance but they couldn’t slow down yet, they had no idea where they were or where they had even started from but they were determined to get somewhere safe.

“T-Tae!” Namjoon called out as he winced from the pain that began to burn in his stomach “Tae we have to stop.”
