A tree branch snapped under Jungyeon's feet, she recoiled her feet so quick that she stumbled backwards and bumbed into someone. Nayeon hissed and shoved the short haired girl away from her before stomping away. 

"Fiesty much?"Jungyeon rubbed her shoulder and arched her brow before hastily catching up with the latter. "Hey!" She called out. Nayeon ignored her. "Hey!!" Jeongyeon increased her spped and tried to catch up with the girl. "Hey, I'm calling you!" She finally caught up to the girl and grabbed her arm to stop her. 

"Don't touch me!" Nayeon yanked her arm away from the short haired lady, who raised both her hands. 

"Woah, calm down bunny." 

"Don't call me that!" Nayeon's eyes were watery and red rimmed. She was tired of everything. Tired of walking around with her blistered feet. Tired of eating food that tasted like nothing. Tired of missing her family and wondering if they thought she was dead. Tired of Jungyeon messing with her. Tired of Jungyeon playing with her feelings. "Stop ing with me. I'm not your plaything! I have feelings too. Why are you so cruel?" Jungyeon blinked and looked guilt striken.

"Hey, I went overboard just now. I'm sorry about that." She rubbed the nape of her neck and looked at the ground. "I-I know I'm a cruel person. Believe me, you're not the first one who had said that to me." Jeongyeon had always been mean spirited as long as she can remembered. As a servant's daughter growing up in priviledge schools with Chaeyoung, she had received dirty glances and jokes from her peers. She soon found out she had to be mean first to people in order for them not to. "I'm sorry." It was her second time apologizing for her actions. First being Chaeyoung.

Nayeon's gaze returned to Jeongyeon's sincere eyes. It was the first time Nayeon had noticed that the blonde had slightly bigger right eye. It was also the first time Nayeon had seen nothing but kindness in them. It was the first time Nayeon truly notices how pretty the latter actually is, with her blonde short hair framing her small face with slender neck ajoined to a tall lithe body. 

Jeongyeon watched as Nayeon's rapid breath slowed down, indicating that she had calmed down a bit. She sighed a little in relief. The girl in front of her had done wonders to her in just these short few days. She had done things nobody else ever had. She had made her feel things she hadn't felt, and had made her apologize things she had done wrong. 

Jeongyeon had never met someone so mature yet so impossibly adorable. She reached out and touched her finger against the older girl's cheek, her eyes never leaving the latter. 

Nayeon's breath hitched when Jeongyeon traced her fingers across her cheeks to her lips, her thumb grazing her front tooth. Her face grew impossibly hot as she felt herself gravitating towards the younger girl. Jeongyeon did the same. 

Their lips were barely inches apart when a twig snapping snapped them away from their world. Both girls jerked away from each other and turned their heads towards the direction of the disturbance. 

However, there was nothing but trees in sight. Jeongyeon craned her head and blinked when she saw nothing that would have made the twig snap.

It sure wasn't just her imaginattion. They had both heard it.

"What was that?" Nayeon whispered against her back. She had cowered behind Jeongyeon.

"Maybe a rabbit?" But she saw no trace of animal. She reached her hand over to grasped the older girls hand tightly. "We should leave." She pulled the girl and they strolled hastily towards another direction.
