"Got laid?”
Twice the TroubleAfter Nayeon had collapsed, they decided they had no choice but reside here for another day. Their water had almost ran out, and they hadn’t had a shower for two days. The only thing they could do was to wipe themselves with the limited water they had.
Jungyeon was out strolling around the area, leaving Chaeyong to set the tent herself. She noticed her friend acting a little strange, but kept to herself and let her do her thing. The others had done setting up their tent and Chaeyoung was still half way through. Suddenly someone stepped around her and helped her with her tent.
Her breath quickened when she noticed who it was. Mina.
After they had finished setting up her tent, she mustered up her courage and muttered a ‘thank you’ to mina. Mina acknowledge by nodding her head and giving her a smile. Chaeyoung offered the latter a drink and Mina gladly accepted. They sat by their tent quietly sipping their drinks.
Chaeyoung was so nervous she couldn’t think of a topic to talk about. Ask her about her ballet. That’s it!
“Yo-“
“Ac-“
They both started at the same time and stopped abruptly.
“You go first.” Chaeyoung told Mina, but Mina shook her head and gestured for Chaeyoung to go first. “It’s nothing important. Really. I just wanted to ask, how many years have you been doing ballet?” Chaeyoung blushed a little while looking at her feet.
“Around 11 years.” Mina replied honestly.
“Wow! Really?” Chaeyoung was amazed. “That’s really cool! I bet you’re really good at it.” Mina blushed a little at the compliment and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. The small gesture made Chaeyoung’s eyes sparkled.
“It’s no big deal. Everyone could be good after 11 years of doing it.”
“Well, if they had the patience to do that.” Chaeyoung said and then realized Mina’s frown. “I mean, ballet is really hard. I think. Not many have the patience to do it for 11 years. I meant that you are great for having that patience. It’s a good thing. Really!” Mina giggled at Chaeyoung’s expression as she blurted that out. Chaeyoung noticed that whenever Mina was around she couldn’t keep her calm.
“I understand.” Mina assured Chaeyoung by tapping her shoulder.
“Good that you do.” Chaeyoung breathed out in relief. “
“I.” Mina smiled shyly. “I like to play games.” Mina said quietly. “And watch anime and read manga.”
“Woah, didn’t figure you’d be an otaku. That’s what they call them in Japan right?” Chaeyoung started chuckling but stopped when she noticed the other girl wasn’t laughed, at all. She mentally slapped herself. Sometimes she had weird sense of humor. She and Jungyeon. “I’m sorry. Did I offend you?”
“Oh no.” Mina waved it off. “Was I supposed to laugh? Was it meant to be funny?” Mina scratched her head. Chaeyoung pouted at the girl’s bluntness.
“Nevermind. It happens.”
“What happens?” Mina raised a brow.
“You know, Jungyeon and I had a nickname together
