Everything's Perfect

So Beautiful, Yet So Deadly

The duo were wandering the city so deep into the night that they were really left with no other option than to simply walk around. J-Hope was planning to do something more entertaining, but it couldn't be helped that they were cooped up in that practice room for so long, so it seemed they had to suffice with just this. Luckily, simply walking around with the older in such a calming night was just enough to get Jimins mind off everything.

He needed exactly this. Time alone with the main dancer. Not forced time together such as a schedule or something, just like this. By choice.

It made him feel a tad bit special. He knew he shouldn't be looking so far into as simple as an act as just walking alone by the others request, but he couldn't help it. This is what his constant desperation craved for. Hoseoks attention. With how far his desperation had gone, it was hard not too look at these simple things as something much bigger.

The pair continued walking down the street to an unknown destination. They were in no rush, they had no early schedules the next morning. Chatter from the duo themselves filled up the air since there was no one else roaming the streets at such a late time. The only background noise present were the odd car or two that sped by every now and then. Gentle autumn breezes swept past them time to time, helping both of them cool down their heated bodies from their intense dance practice.

Why did everything seem so perfect?

Was it because the two were alone for once? Was it because they were just so comfortable and natural with each other? Was it because it seemed like time was going so quickly, yet stopped at the same time?

This moment, it seemed so perfect and Jimin just didn't want it to end. The small chuckles that errupted between the two when one of them said something stupid. The beautiful grin that swiped across Hoseoks lips when the younger pointed out something obvious. The glint in his eyes when he talked about something with passion. Their empty, yet somehow undeniably fascinating conversation.

This night couldn't get better.

But that was only until they were to go back to the dorm. Who knew what was going to await them then. The members would be there and fill up their conversation with their own comments and remarks. Any moments alone would be nonexistent once they were there thanks to the rest of the members.

Taehyung would definitely shove himself in the middle of the duo once they stepped foot inside the dorm.

That thought alone just wanted to make Jimin keep his distance. He didn't want to have such a special moment with the other only for it to be taken away so quickly. But then again, if he was only going to have this, shouldn't he just relish on it even more? If Taehyung was just going to take the older away, shouldn't he at least ravish on this before it'd be taken away until who knows how long?

Pretend like we're the only ones who exist

Hoseoks words came back to him, and with a soft sigh he let the words become a reality. He was going to pretend like there was no one else. No other members, no Taehyung. Just him and Hoseok. It was the only was he was going to fully enjoy this night alone with the other.

After several minutes of mindless walking around, the duo surprisingly came across a cafe that was open. "Oh, this place is open?" Hoseok said more to himself than the other as he examined the building.

"You know this place?" the younger questioned.

"Mhm, I've been here like once. It's really good," he nodded before grinning at the other. "Want to go in and have a bite?"

The younger simply nodded to the question before the pair went inside. As expected, the place was practically empty, aside from a two customers who were seated on other sides of the cafe. From being how empty the place was, the two didn't have to worry about being disturbed by fans or such, they could be comfortable. The place was almost dead silent as well, aside from the soft music that played through the speakers.

Being that the younger had never been to the place before, he was going to settle with just buying a simple sandwhich. But after being pestered by the older about how amazing the muffins were, here they were sitting at a table by the window with two muffins sitting in between them.

They continued to talk about useless things, but now it was more of the older blabbering on about random stuff because the younger was more concentrated on the small baked good in his hands. Besides, he liked listen to the older talk. Sometimes it was about something he was passionate about the younger didn't want him to stop talking because he had never seen the older express himself in such a way aside from dancing. Other times, he would just blab on about such useless things that Jimin couldn't help but find it entertaining.

It wasn't long until Hoseok had finally ran out of things to say, but neither of them minded the silence. It was comforting, and with the soft background music it made things feel even less awkward. Both of them sat there in the comforting silence, staring out the window. There was really nothing to look at considering that all the lights of nearby stores were off, there were no people walking around and there were little to no cars that drove through the streets.

Moving his gaze away from the emptiness of outside, Jimin examined the inside of the cafe more. It seemed like a cozy cafe, and it was pretty miraculous that such a place was even open at this time. But it wasn't like he was complaining, the food was far past exceptional and the place seemed well maintained. Maybe he should come here more often on his free time.

"So how'd you find this place? Just stumble across it or something?" the lead vocalist asked, breaking the silence.

"No," the older answered with the shake of his head. "Tae actually showed me this place a few weeks ago. Ah, reasons like this are why having friends are so amazing, they show you some of the best places you never even knew of." He said with a grin before nodding with approval.

However, Jimin felt the ends of his lips fall ever so slightly. He didn't want to make a huge scene like he did in the practice room, especially since this situation seemed even smaller than that. But, he couldn't help but feel a small sting in his chest as he heard the other name.

Huh... I wonder if he's thinking of Tae right now...

He sighed softly as that thought hit. He was overthinking again, and overthinking just led to overreacting. But now that his mind was off, it wasn't going to stop just like that.

Did he think of Tae this whole time? Is that why he brought me here?

Is this his way of disregarding my existence? By dragging me here just to think of his time with Taehyung?

Luckily, his train of thought was quickly broken when the older started to speak
