(author’s note: I can honestly say I was surprised at the amount of views on this but sad because no one gave feedback. I feel like you guys didn’t like it. that’s part of why it took a while to update. It makes me happy to read comments……so don’t hesitate to say what you liked or didn’t like about this chapter or any of the chapters :D )

Just like the last time they lay like this, his fingers traced the tattoos on her back. But this time he reveled in the feel of the soft skin that held the ink just below its surface. He knew much more about her this time and yet he had so many more questions.

She lay in his arms, not quite able to believe what had happened between them. She hadn’t planned to tumble into bed with him but it happened because they both felt the need to be wrapped in and around each other. Her heart thumped loudly in her chest as she felt his fingers brush gently against her skin.

“That night……Hyesung……I don’t know what came over me…… I don’t usually act like that,” she chewed her bottom lip nervously as she tried to find the rest of the words she wanted to say to him. His response was to slip his hand over gently to stop her from speaking.

He moved to whisper into her ear. “There is no reason to make an excuse. What happened or, in our case didn’t happen, doesn’t need an apology. The only thing that matters is everything that happened after and the way it has led to where we are right now.” He kissed her neck gently and released her.

“I need to use the bathroom, don’t go away where.” He slipped from the bed, a gentle laugh filled the room as he left and made his way to the bath
