A Shocking Step

Today was the last day that any four of them were going to be in New York in a long time. Gui Gui was running all over the condo making sure that she didn’t leave anything important while Ya Tou was helping her. While Gui Gui was running all over the place she had accidentally knocked down a box of letters and pictures. Ya Tou had taken notice of one of pictures in the box and picked it up. She couldn’t believe her eyes.

YT: Gui Gui?

G: Yeah? What is it?

YT: What is this? (handing her a picture)

G: Where did you find this?

YT: In this box… why do you still have a picture of you and Aaron when you are going out with Wang Zi?

G: Well… uhm… (Gui Gui was speech less and she could also feel tears starting to form)

YT: You still have all of them don’t you? And… this (hands her the paper from the floor) you wrote this didn’t you?

G: Okay Ya Tou if I tell you, you have to promise me that you will never tell Wang Zi

YT: I promise

G: Okay before I met Wang Zi I was all alone by myself here in Mew York. All I could do was think about him. How sorry I felt for all those things I said to him. Every second of ever day I was thinking of him. I couldn’t even go out without having something remind me of him, until I met Wang Zi. He was the one that brought me up from my lowest of lows.

Gui Gui just started to cry from all of the memories that were rushing back to her. Ya Tou went up to Gui Gui and hugged her tightly.

YT: Okay shh okay I’m sorry that I had brought it up…

WZ: Hey Gu… (pauses for a moment to look at Gui Gui and Ya Tou) Gui are you okay?
Why are you crying?

YT: She is just really happy to be going back and seeing all of her friends and family.

WZ: Ohh… here baby (grabs Gui Gui and hug her) don’t worry I’m sure they’ll all be happy to see you again

G: Okay (trying to put on a smile)

MD: Hey you guys we have to get going

YT: Okay in a sec

WZ: Come on Gui the luggage is already inside the cab lets get going

G: Okay, I’m good let’s go

They all got into the cab and headed for the air port. When they got to the air port the cab driver got off and helped Wang Zi and Mao Di with all of the bags. They then went to check in and headed for their gate. In about half an hour or so they were able to bored the plane, and in another fifteen minutes they had taken off. They had passed the time on the plane by playing card, watching movies, and talking but at one time or another they all fell asleep. After quite some time something had woken-up Gui Gui.

Intercom: Attention all passenger we will be landing soon. So please put your chairs back into their upright positions and lock all of your tables please. The time right now in Taiwan is 10:00 am. Thank you for flying with Taiwan Air and have a nice day.

G: Hey babe (nudging Wang Zi) baby we are landing soon (whispering into his ear)

WZ: What? What happened?

G: Nothing babe we are just going to land soon so you need to wake up

WZ: Oh, okay (still half asleep)

G: Hey Ya Tou are you awake?

YT: (yawn) I am now…

G: Okay now go wake up Mao Di we are landing soon

YT: Okay… (turns to Mao Di) Hey sweetie time to wake up we are going to land soon

MD: Hum… yeah… I’m awake… (falling asleep again)

YT: Hey wake up already (laughing at Mao Di)

MD: Yes, honey I’m awake (yawns) well at least getting there

Soon after the plane lands and they got off

Intercom: The flight of JX7731 from New York to Taiwan you’re bags can be found in caracal 2 and 3

G: Okay caracal 2 and 3, me and Wang Zi will go to 2 and you two go to 3

YT: Okay we’ll meet up back her in 10 minutes

So ten minutes had passed and they all found their bags

WZ: Hey the limo is waiting outside you guys

MD: Limo?

G: Yeah the company always does that for us

YT: Wow, your guys lives are all so nice that you always get to ride in a limo

WZ: Well not really, the company pays for all of it

G: Okay, okay everyone get into the car

The all follow what Gui Gui says and gets into the car

YT: Hey where are we going any way?

WZ: Oh… well the driver after dropping us off at the press conference he is going to drop our bags off at the condo

MD: Press conference?

G: Yeah, I hope that you guys don’t mind coming with us but after we should meet up with the rest of the gang

YT: Sure that sounds like a great idea

WZ: I also have another surprise for all of you guys…

G: Babe what do you mean?

WZ: Well actually it is for all of us…

MD: What do you mean?

WZ: Well I thought since we, me and Gui Gui, is moving back and I’m going to get really busy with filming I didn’t want Gui Gui to stay home all by herself. So I got that company to buy two condos one for me and Gui Gui and the other one would be for you guys.

G: Aww… babe thank you so much

YT: Thank you so much Wang Zi but we could never accept this

MD: Yeah this is way too much

G: No… guys please do this for me (gives them so good puppy dog eyes)

YT: Only if you promise everything will go back to old times…

G: You got it (smiles widely)

YT: Okay then I guess we’re moving next to you guys, if it’s okay with Mao Di

MD: Whatever makes you happy Ya Tou

G: Okay I guess it is settled then

WZ: Okay so I’m make sure that your guys bags will be sent to your condo

YT: Well maybe Gui me and Mao Di will just go home and start packing up our stuff

WZ: There’s no need for that, I already had your stuff put into the condo

MD: Wow you like to be on top of things uh?

WZ: That was just how I was brought up (small giggle) and I knew that Gui Gui would convince you two one way or another

Driver: Sir we are here

WZ: Okay thank you; come on you guys lets go

Manager: Hey Wang Zi, Gui Gui how was your guys flight?

G: Fine thank you, oh Andy Ge (the manager’s name) I would like you to meet my friends Ya Tou and her boyfriend Mao Di

AG (Andy Ge): Oh these are two that you were talking about… Gui Gui here has been talking about you two for months when I was still in New York

YT: Yeah she tend to get over excited over things

AG: That’s fine well let’s not stand out here, let go head on in

G: Come on you guys
MD: Are you sure it’s okay?

AG: Don’t worry, just as long you don’t break anything or get anyone mad then it will be okay

WZ: Okay come on you guys it’s going to start soon

So they all head into the press conference, Wang Zi goes back stage while Gui Gui, Ya Tou, and Mao Di go into the free spaces in between all of the reporters. In about 30 minutes they had started.

AG: Okay we will be starting off this press conference by showing all of you guys the cast of the new drama “One Step At A Time” The main lead is Wang Zi (comes out of the back stage)

WZ: Hello… there everyone (waves at all of the flashing lights)

AG: The female lead will be Hebe Tian

H: Hey there (also waves)

Wang Zi’s POV
Great I get to work with the she-devil of Taiwan oh joy

(A/N: very big sorry to Bebu fans please don’t get mad at me I just need to have put that in because Hebe is bad in my story but yeah sorry I again I really have nothing against Bebu)

Hebe’s POV
Yes I get to work with Wang Zi again >_^ I’m so happy… wait what am I thinking? I have Aaron now I don’t need Wang Zi right?

AG: Now our two supporting actors will be Aaron Yan Ya Lun and Calvin Cheng from the band Fahrenheit

A: Hello there (waves)

CA: Sup (smiles sweetly)

Gui Gui’s POV
Aaron?! Hebe?! Calvin?! Wang Zi?! All of them are working together?

Ya Tou’s POV
Aaron, Hebe, and Calvin their all here… poor Gui Gui

Mao Di’s POV
Gosh… I’m hungry (A/N: sorry I didn’t know that to put for Mao Di and I didn’t want to leave him out okay back to the story)

AG: You guys may start asking questions

(A/N: just to let you guys know that when you see R1 or R2 that means Reporter 1 or Reporter 2)

R1: Wang Zi is it true that you and Hebe were in some type of relationship before?

WZ: You could say that…

Gui Gui, Ya Tou’s POV
They went out before?!

Mao Di’s POV
So this is the girl Wang Zi was talking about?

R2: Aaron do you think having Wang Zi being the male lead and Hebe’s ex-boyfriend will effect filming?

A: I don’t believe so…

R3: Hebe so how is you and Aaron’s relationship?

H: Well it is going good, just like any other couples relationship (smiling at Aaron)

Aaron’s POV
You have got to be joking

Calvin’s POV
If you call fighting all of the time “going good” then they are the most perfect couple. I swear Aaron was better off with Gui Gui

R1: Wang Zi is the rumors true that you have a new girlfriend?

WZ: Yes, it’s true I do have a girlfriend

Hebe’s POV
HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND?!

R3: So what is her name?

WZ: Well she can tell you herself. Babe you want to come up? (extending his hand out)

Gui Gui’s POV
No…No...NO I do not want to go up there….quick Gui Gui look for the nearest exist…

AG: Can someone get her up here please?

Security: Ma’am

G: Okay (sigh)

So Gui Gui makes her way to the stage with her head down getting through all of those whispering reporters

Aaron’s POV
Why does that girl look so filmier?

WZ: I would you all to meet my girlfriend. Why don’t you introduce yourself honey? (Gui Gui is now standing next to him)

G: (lifts her head slowly) Hi there everyone my name is Gui Gui and I’m Wang Zi’s girlfriend

Just then all of the reporter’s cameras started to flash from all directions

Calvin’s POV
Hey Gui Gui is back… awesome!

Hebe’s POV
Wang Zi is going out with Gui Gui!

Aaron’s POV
GUI GUI?! Why are you going out with him?
