2014.

He was in Japan and she wondered if he was too busy to call. 

But then she could call him first, see if it's okay to talk even for just a minute. It's because she was missing him and they didn't see each other for more than a month. Sure, the talked on the phone almost everyday now--it became Soojung's habit to wait for his call after dinner-- but it's still different than when they met. 

She gripped her phone so tight her fingers became white. 

Should I do it?

It's 10 PM now and she hoped he was still up. She promised herself she would just ask him about Tokyo--she always wanted to go, but now that F(x) is preparing for their comeback, she didn't have time for vacation-- and if he found that toy he's been looking for. 

She opened her contact list and found his name and number. 

She contemplated for a minute.

And two.

It's getting late and she didn't want to bother him, 

she's just missing him. 

She closed her eyes and clicked his number. 

Soojung put the phone to her ear and listening to the ringer. 

once.

twice.

"Hello?" came his usual cheerful voice. He's not asleep yet, Soojung was glad. 

"Hey, it's me.. I just..."

"Do you know this is your first time calling me first?" he cut her.

She took a deep breath. "Well, yes."
