He found her small envelope in between his belongings. She must've put it inside his backpack secretly while he was checking out of his hotel earlier today. 

Oppa,

I wrote this letter so I could tell you the things I couldn't say to you. I hope it's enough.

Thank you for coming to Los Angeles. I'm glad oppa was able to see the things I love the most, meet the people I most fond of, eat my favorite food, and just see the world through my eyes. It feels like I'm sharing my world with you, hehehe. 

Thank you for what you said in Santa Monica last night, and I'm really sorry I had to tell you those things. I know I said I'm sorry a million times between last night and this morning, and you probably would hate me when you read this letter because here I'm saying that I'm sorry, again. But I felt like a million sorry would never be enough. 

It's been said that love finds you when you're ready. Thank you for telling me that you love me, oppa, and I meant it when I said that I love you too, but right now I'm not ready. I'm sorry I cried so much last night I didn't managed to tell you this: one day, when the time is right, I want you to ask me again, and maybe my answer will be different. One day, when we're both older and wiser, but until that time comes, let's keep being Kang Minhyuk and Jung Soojung like we did yesterday. Let's become better friends, and build stronger bond. Like I always said, you are a dear friend to me and I cannot lose you. 

You always said that I am special to you, but I never told you.. that you are special to me, too. 

I've decided I'm coming home by the end of February or early March.

He smiled, and folded her letter and put it inside his wallet, along with the letters she gave him through the years --his wallet became thicker but he didn't care--.
