The Weapon of Jupiter and Saturn

Final Bangtan Fantasy X

Hi guys, i realized there's a mixup! Jimin and Jungkook should go to THUNDER PLAINS, not BESAID. I'm so d*mn sorry omg I'll change the other chapter too :(( Btw theres quite a bit of Al Bhed in here. You can try to make sense of it (a bit impossible) or go type Al Bhed to English translator and there will actually be a few results :))

I also might not be writing for quite a while since i'll be travelling! :)) my first time to europe!

************************************************************
Jimin looks up at the dark sky, lightning cutting through the sky and thunder roars. Personally, he's not a fan of thunder and lightning, but there's no choice. There is a Celestial Weapon here, and Park Jimin isn't one to give up easily.

"Yah!" Jimin screams as a bright flash of light blinds him and he literally jumps onto Jungkook.

Well, Jungkook's not complaining. He carefully puts Jimin down, before leading him deeper into the place, wondering where in the world they're going to start searching. Not before long, Jungkook and Jimin find themselves in front of the Rin's Travel Agency of the Thunder Plains.

"C-Can we w-wait for the l-l-lightning to s-stop first?" Jimin is still trembling, holding onto Jungkook's arm as Jungkook sighs. This isn't called Thunder Plains for a reason, and Jimin didn't find it this scary when they first came. Probably it's because they had passed through the place pretty quickly.

"We've got a place to be, Jimin!" Jungkook says. "Or...you can stay here and I'll go by myself."

Jimin looks up at him, appalled, "H*ll no! What if you get injured or something?"

Jungkook's face heats up, but nope, no one saw that red on his blue skin. Definitely not. He looks down at Jimin, who suddenly stutters, "Uh...I mean..."

"Whatever you say," Jungkook smirks, dragging Jimin out with him into the Thunder Plains, watching the older clinging onto Jungkook whenever there is thunder. It isn't long before Jungkook notices the number of stones placed all around the plains, all glowing and having the same design on them--a Cactuar.

But why would there be Cactuars here?

"Jungkookie...what's that?" Jimin points at something green bouncing around near the stone, and Jungkook realizes it's a Cactuar....except it looks way smaller but more menacing.

"Come on!" Jungkook runs after the small thing, but the Cactuar disappears behind the stone, seemingly gone, disappeared into nothingness.

"OHMYYEVONJUNGKOOKISTHATAGHOST?!" Jimin screams as he grabs Jungkook's arm.

"I don't think so," Jungkook is amazed that he can actually understand Jimin, who's cowering behind him and it's the cutest thing Jungkook has ever seen. Although, that Cactuar disappearing is really a mystery. Eh, whatever.

"Hey, look at that," Jungkook notices the intricate design carved on the stone. It's a picture of a Cactuar, though it looks way smaller than the average-sized Cactuar. Maybe it's a picture of that small one from just now? Jungkook looks at the stone. It looks like one of those stones they saw before in Besaid...?

"Hey, you remember that huge stone at the top of the cliff?" Jungkook asks, and Jimin gives him a funny look. The Ronso rolls his eyes, "The one on top of the cliff we always sat at when we were kids?"

"Oh! That one!" Jimin still has his eyebrows furrowed. "So?"

"It looks similar? Except it's bigger?"

"You mean we're supposed to pray to it?"

"Probably," Jungkook shrugs. "Maybe that thing really was a ghost after all." When he sees Jimin looking as fearful as earlier, Jungkook rolls his eyes. "Please, you deal in death all the time. You've seen ghosts before."

"They weren't ghosts! They were...apparitions."

"Same difference," Jungkook says. "Anyway, pray to it."

Jimin stares at him for a full second before nodding and walking over to the stone, performing the prayer of Yevon. The stone's color disappears, and the spectral Cactuar appear again, before running off deeper into the plains.

"Let's follow it!" Jimin grabs Jungkook's arm and the two of them run after the Qactuar.

"What do you mean no?"

"Well, Cid say no Yoongi," the Al Bhed speaks in broken Spiran. "He say no let Yoongi into our team."

"You're kidding!" Yoongi mutters. "Vilg so meva...E cfayn E's kuehk du dayn uid Let'c drnuyd vun drec. Oui cina oui lyh'd mad sa eh? Zicd uha duinhysahd!"

Hoseok has absolutely no idea what Yoongi just said, but from the tone, he doesn't sound pleased about it.

"Hu," the Al Bhed says, shaking his head.

"Yd maycd lymm let yht damm res dryd e haat du byndelebyda du kad dra lamacdeym faybuh!" Yoongi snarls. Hoseok places a hand on his shoulder.

"Yoongi-ah..."

"Ymnekrd, E'mm lymm res yht lralg, pid ev ra cyoc udranfeca, fa femm hud ahdandyeh oui yho muhkan," the Al Bhed digs out some communication device, and he puts it to his ear, until the ringing sound ceases and he talks quickly to Cid, who's probably on the other end. After smirking at shocked expression, Yoongi awaits his answer.

"Veha, oui lyh zueh...vun uhmo uha duinhysahd, yht fa tuh'd ahdandyeh Guado," the Al Bhed says, and Yoongi looks like he's over the moon. He looks back at Hoseok, "I'm gonna go against the Luca Goers...and apparently, the Luca Cup's up next."

"You don't even need to ask," Hoseok grins. "I'm definitely going to support you! You have my word! Luca Cup, right? I'll be there!"

"Are you sure you're gonna be okay by yourself?"

"Yeah," Hoseok nods. "Besides, I'm a mage. I'm pretty sure I can conjure up some fire on the spot if anyone tries to attack me."

Yoongi smiles. Yeah, Hoseok will be alright.

"I'll see you then," Yoongi watches as Hoseok leaves, and someone slaps him on the back; one of the players; before leading him to the Al Bhed Psyches' changing room.

**********************************************************

Yoongi puts on the Al Bhed Psyches' singlet, and he's ready to go out and play. The Luca Cup is starting in less than ten minutes, and the Captain walks over to give them all a slight pep talk before the game, telling them the usual--not to be too cocky, be careful, and to not let the enemy players catch the ball at any one time.

Yoongi should feel at home, hearing his own language, surrounded by his own people, feeling the same aura that Al Bhed give off...but Yoongi just doesn't. He feels foreign as he watches the people chuckle and laugh with each other, while he sits alone, looking at his demonic arm over and over again. He doesn't even feel that he belongs here anymore.

The Captain comes over to sit by Yoongi's side.

"E's kuehk du bid oui eh lahdan," he says, and Yoongi looks at him, stunned. Center?

"Pid E's hud..." Yoongi starts to protest, but the horn sounds, and it's the Al Bhed Psyches' turn to go prep a little, get used to the water, before the tournament starts. The stadium is still empty, and Yoongi can't help but think about Hoseok. He knows he won't be able to see Hoseok, since he's going to be concentrated on the game, but Hoseok is going to see him, and Yoongi feels the sudden urge to want to impress.

Impress Hoseok.

Yoongi smiles to himself as the Captain slaps him on the back again, yelling a few words such as "Good luck!" and "Don't die out there!" in Al Bhed, and the team proceeds.

********************************************************

Yoongi sticks his head out of the sphere for some air, before throwing himself back into it, swimming after his players as they pass the ball to each other, learning to work with Yoongi as they learn his style, and in turn, Yoongi learns theirs. It turns out that the shorty has issues with high passes, and the long-haired one likes to use his left hand to catch the ball.

All too soon, the horn blows, and everyone is wishing each other a "Good luck", before they face the Kilika Beasts, the first match of the tournament. People start filing into the stadium, and the players are already in the sphere, waiting for the signal to be given and for the ball to undergo Blitz Off (something like how you start a basketball game with a jump).

Yoongi is the one to catch the ball, and he quickly begins to swim towards their goal, blocked by the player of Kilika Beasts, avoiding and dodging the Ronsos and players as they try to tackle him. Once in a while, Yoongi has to pass his ball to someone else, but most of the time, he's in possession of the ball, even when shooting.

Yoongi does a flip as he shoots towards the goal, the ball travelling like lightning across the water, before it hits the goal net, the goalkeeper too slow to react. Yoongi receives a pat on the back by one of his team members, and they play again.

Yoongi starts to get tired in his second match, against the Ronso Fangs. Those people are huge! He grits his teeth, eyes shutting as he tumbles through the water after getting tackled, and he swears that his chest is going to bruise after this. He kicks the water as he passes the ball to the short guy, and he swims upwards, managing to avoid a tackling Ronso. Yoongi catches the ball, does a backflip in the water and shoots, cursing the cramp in his leg as he hisses, swimming up to the surface to get air, trying to nurse the pain in his leg before he dives back down, ignoring the cramp.

During the break between the second and the final game, Yoongi wonders how Hoseok is doing, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips when he sees the Guado's grinning face in his mind, vitalizing him even more now to keep going, and Yoongi ignores the aching pain in his leg as he re-enters the Al Bhed Psyches' changing room. They've made it to the finals, and definitely are up against the Luca Goers.

Yoongi swears this is going to be the best game yet.

***********************************************************

"And blitz off!"

The blitzball shoots up from the machine, the machine sinking lower and lower into the ground as Yoongi grabs the ball yet again, tempted to stick his tongue out at Abus, who tries to tackle him and catches Yoongi's arm instead, his long nails scratching Yoongi's arm, and Yoongi hisses as he starts swimming to their goal, leaving a trail of red behind him.

These players aren't out to win. They're out to kill.

Yoongi flips again, dodging Graav's tackle as he passes the ball to someone else, the ball sailing through the air and...landing in Balgerda's arms. She winks at Yoongi, mouthing a 'thank you' before swimming off, and Yoongi chases after her, though he gets rammed into by another player, Raudy. Yoongi is sure he broke his ribs as Raudy pushes him into another player, causing Yoongi to open his mouth in a silent scream of pain as pain shoots up his spine and his chest. Yoongi lets his body go limp for a moment, trying to assess the damage.

There is an indent in his chest where his ribs broke, and Yoongi can feel his heart beating even more quickly as he looks up and catches sight of the ball landing into their goal. Yoongi snarls, kicking his feet, ignoring the comments of the commentators as they dish out some 'not-so-nice' comments about him, and Yoongi rams his head into the first Luca Goer he sees, hearing the 'oof' from the other guy, and he grabs the ball. It's not wrong. It's not foul play. It's just Yoongi doing what the Luca Goers do--wounding the other to win.

He grits his teeth as he passes the ball to someone else, his broken ribs killing him as he dodges yet another attack from his arch-enemy on the field, Bickson. Bickson grins as he dives towards Yoongi again, slamming the guy full-force and Yoongi almost passes out from the pain as Bickson probably broke his spine or something when he grabs Yoongi's wrist, dragging him up before punching his face, Yoongi sailing through the water, even at a higher speed than he's supposed to go.

Yoongi stops himself just in time before he falls out of the sphere, and that would really be a goodbye for him. Yoongi wonders why the referee isn't calling Bickson out for foul play yet, since Yoongi doesn't have the ball and the rules state that you can only attack someone with the ball.

Yoongi feels the ball hit his head, and everything starts to go blurry. Either he's got a concussion or his skull has cracked.

Yoongi can't hear anything. And everything in his line of sight is a huge mess of color and shapes. Coupled with the pain in his chest and face, Yoongi feels like he's really going to die. Oh, not to mention that cut lip too.

Yoongi doesn't even hear anyone yelling, just the commentators stating that he's probably going to die soon anyway, and Yoongi blacks out.

********************************************************

"There...that's the last one."

Jimin stands up straight, and he shrieks when lightning strikes the stone. And again. And again. This is probably the Celestial Weapon's doing, but Jungkook doesn't think so. He looks up and gapes when he sees the monstrous thing.

The Humbaba that they failed to defeat the other time.

Jungkook grabs Jimin's sleeve and pulls him to the ground as the Humbaba flies over them, the Humbaba growling as it comes onto them again.

"Go get the weapon. I'll hold him off," Jungkook says, readying his spear.

"No, you do it," Jimin says, taking out his staff. "I'll hold him off."

Before Jungkook can open his mouth to say anything, Jimin's already reciting the incantation to summon Valefor, the bird appearing out from the sky, beating its wings viciously as Jungkook makes for the weapon. Jimin's right. He's strong enough, and doesn't need Jungkook's help anymore.

Jungkook can barely crush down the feeling of sadness as he watches Jimin stand strong, riding atop the bird and facing the Humbaba all at once, Valefor's Watera and Waterga spells aren't something to be messed with, as the bird casts a NulShock spell on the both of them, alleviating any form of Thunder-based damage.

Jungkook throws furtive glances around. Where can the weap--There! Over there!

Jungkook sees a shining spear, blue glitter drifting off from the blade. He runs over and grabs the spear, feeling the weight of the weapon in his hands...but it feels just like a normal spear.

Almost like Taehyung's Godhand. It looked exactly like a normal claw weapon. Jungkook looks over at the blade. It's...missing something. The Sigil.

"JUNGKOOK!"

Jimin yells as he lands on the ground, hard, head hitting the rocky path and Jungkook nearly drops the spear, running up to Jimin. Valefor has disappeared into pyreflies, and Ifrit is almost getting beaten blue-black by the Humbaba, casting Firaga spells as the Humbaba counters with Thunderga.

"Sh*t, Kookie, I underestimated the guy," Jimin smiles apologetically as Jungkook brushes blood-matted hair out of his eyes.

"Use a Curaga spell on yourself, Jimin. The head wound looks bad," Jungkook says. "I'll take care of the guy."

"You got the spear already?"

"Missing a Sigil," Jungkook manages to utter out when Jimin sees Ifrit flying past them, bursting into pyreflies even before he hits the ground. Jimin brings up his arms and Summons yet another Aeon, Ixion this time, the unicorn bursting out of its electric prison, getting ready to do battle. At least the Humbaba's lightning attacks won't work now.

"Right, we gotta get out of here," Jimin grins, raising his arms again.

"Holy sh*t, Jimin, what are you...Ixion's already..."

"Nirvana's aiding me," Jimin turns back to him. "Don't worry."

And Jimin performs his second Double Summoning in his life, calling Bahamut from the skies, and the dragon swoops down, scooping Jimin and Jungkook up as Jimin dismisses Ixion, the energy of summoning two Aeons at the same time draining him. Jimin lies on Bahamut's back as Bahamut flies them out of there, narrowly dodging the lightning bolts that fall from the sky.

"Well, that was tiring," Jimin laughs, pulling Jungkook to lie down with him, throwing an arm around Jungkook and whispering something like, "I need a pillow to hug.", causing Jungkook's face to flare up in response as he awkwardly hugs Jimin back, constantly reminding himself that it cannot be real. That he doesn't like Jimin that way.

Jungkook watches as Jimin snuggles into his chest, almost like he was made to be there.

And that scares Jungkook. A lot.

********************************************************

Just...a...little...more.

Namjoon's fingers brush the edge of the sword, gripping it tightly, as he stabs it into the stone, slotting it into the statue of Lord Mi'ihen's hands. He watches in awe as the sword glows a brilliant red, before the red light dies down. Namjoon grimaces as he falls down, legs unable to hold him up anymore.

Namjoon watches the battle ensuing as he grabs a bottle of Antidote, uncorking it with his teeth (his left arm is numb) as he drinks it, throwing the bottle aside and watching it smash into a million pieces. Namjoon watches with heavy lids Seokjin holds his own against the three beasts, but it looks like he can't take any more either. Aeons alone are difficult to defeat, and three Dark Aeons are practically impossible.

Namjoon can already feel his leg healing, the poison going away, and he picks himself up rather easily now, grabbing the glittering sword from the hands of the statue, and he runs up to his partner, slicing off the bee Aeon's abdomen while he's at it, and the bee girl screams an unholy screech, crashing into the rocks as Seokjin gapes at him. Where did Namjoon come from?

"We're a team Jin-ah. I've got your back."

Namjoon throws a glance back at Seokjin, whose blood-covered face has a smile plastered on it.

Together, they smash the Aeons to bits.
