Chapter 5
Behind The ShadowIt's lunch time. Youngji sat with Hani when she saw Jackson from afar.
"Jackson-ah." She calls him to join them. Jackson comes to their table and sit there. He disbelieved Youngji for giving him a friendly response.
'Is she trying to show me she was ok because she thinks we can be together again?' He questioned himself.
"Jackson, you're so quiet today. Are you ok?" Hani asked.
"Of course I am. Why should I feel not ok?" Jackson said.
"Because you broke up with Youngji." Hani said while eating.
"You can't be yourself if you're not with her. I know it." She continues.
"What do you mean Hani?" Jackson asked.
"Seriously guys, why did you broke up? You're a match-made in heaven." Hani said.
"Yah, what's that. We just broke up. Nothing happened. It's a common thing for a couple to break up." Youngji gives a little laugh. Jackson doesn't understand. Why Youngji looks fine, how can she act like nothing happened? Did he mean nothing for her in the first place?
Mino's pov
It was a peace until I heard someone open the door harshly.
"What are you doing?" What's again this time. A quarrel?
"What do you mean? I did nothing." I sit down as I heard the familiar voice.
"Exactly. You acted like nothing happened between us in front of Hani."
"Then, how should I act? Should I cry or screaming and begging you not to broke up with me? Should I show everybody I was hurt like crazy because we broke up and because you like my friend? Should I do that, Jackson?" I can't stand to see this scene. It hurts me a lot seeing her screaming and crying like that.
