1. the force of attraction by which terrestrial bodies tend to fall toward the center of the earth.

Myung Soo promised himself he’d never fall for someone or feel the emotion called love towards a significant other. He saw his friends feel pain and sadness whenever they would fall in love and Myung Soo, being the good friend that he is, was always there to comfort them and to let them release all their emotions inside. He knew that there was a happier side to love but he rarely see it which is why Myung Soo promised himself to never fall in love. But little did Myung Soo know that by chasing his dreams as a singer he was also gonna break that promise in the process.

Myung Soo was originally going to debut in a group with 5 members but a few months before their debut their CEO suddenly decided to add 2 more members. One of them was named Sung Yeol he looked really fun to be with so he knew they would get along well, the other boy, who was very pretty by Myung Soo’s standards, was just about to introduce himself.

“Annyeonghaseyo!” chimed a slightly high pitched voiced boy. “I’m Lee Sung Jong, please take care of me!” he ended with a bow.

That’s when Myung Soo’s world stopped around him. It felt like it was only him and the other boy in the room. He didn’t know what attracted him to the other. This Sung Jong boy just introduced himself and he was already mesmerized by him. He was pulled out of his reverie when Hoya nudged him on the side and said to him “Are you trying to catch flies or something? You’re the only one who hasn’t introduced himself to the maknae you know.”

“Sorry.” was all that Myung Soo could mumble as he made his way to the now maknae of their group, he stretched out a hand towards the other then said: “Annyeong, I’m Kim Myung Soo.”

“Pleased to meet you Myung Soo-hyung.” replied Sung Jong as he shook his hand with a smile. His smile just melted Myung Soo’s defenses around his heart and the feeling of his hands was soft as it fitted perfectly into Myung Soo’s.

“You could call him L, baby maknae!” teased Dong Woo with a grin.

“L?” said Sung Jong with a laugh. “You do kinda look like L from Death Note hyung.”

“I should really get my hair cut.” Myung Soo mumbled as he blushed. If Sung Jong’s smile could slowly melt his defenses his laugh just destroyed them all throughout. Myung Soo couldn’t figure out why he had this kind of reaction to a boy he just met a few minutes ago. ‘Is this what they call lo-’ NO! Myung Soo scolded himself, he promised himself that he’ll never fall ‘It’s just cause his new that’s why I’m nervous around him.’ he said to himself, but deep within him he knew that wasn’t the case, because Sung Yeol was also new and he didn’t have this kind of reaction.

Their debut came and goes, their trainings ended tiredly every day, their first win made them all cry and their new dorm made them jump in joy. Lots of things changed around Myung Soo and Infinite, the only thing that didn’t change was his feelings for the maknae. After months of debating with his own feelings and scolding himself the visual finally admitted it ‘I’ve fallen for Sung Jong.’

Myung Soo couldn’t help but laugh at himself as he lay at their dorm’s rooftop while stargazing. “I’m so stupid.” was all Myung Soo said to the stars.

“Why are you stupid hyung?” asked a voice from behind. When Myung Soo looked back he could see Sung Jong’s pretty figure, hugging his giant white teddy bear, emerging from the stairs to the roof as the latter made his way to the elder’s side then lay with him contentedly.

“I’m not stupid Jongie.” replied Myung Soo.

“But you just said you were.” cried the younger while facing his hyung.

“Did I Jongie?” teased the other. “Or were you just hearing the ghost of our new dorm.”

“That’s not funny hyung.” Sung Jong whined as he scooted closer to the other and Myung Soo just wrapped an arm around the maknae making Sung Jong blush bright red.

“You’re so red Jongie!” exclaimed Myung Soo as he laughed at the other’s cuteness.

“It’s your fault hyung!” retorted Sung Jong as he made his teddy come in between him and Myung Soo so that he could hide his tomato face.

“Neh Sung Jong,” started Myung Soo as he faced the stars again. “Have you ever fallen in love?”

“Of course I do.” replied Sung Jong and Myung Soo couldn’t help but notice that the younger used the word do instead of did. “How about you hyung?”

“I never did.” Myung Soo said. “Seeing my friends get crushed because of love made me promise myself I’d never fall for someone.”

“Oh.” was all Sung Jong could say a bit crest fallen.

“But that was then,” added Myung Soo. “Recently, I think gravity finally took a toll in me and made me fall.”

“Oh?” said Sung Jong again but now with a curios tone. “Who’d you fell for hyung?” asked the maknae silently wishing the other would say you.

Myung Soo stared into Sung Jong’s hopeful eyes and he knew that he wasn’t the only one to fall, he knew that the feeling was mutual. But then again he could be wrong so he chose the right words to say in his mind before they leave his lips.

“I fell for such an amazing person,” Myung Soo started explaining. “That person is a hardworking person, always smiling but cries easily. From the first day I met this person I knew I fell for him but I couldn’t admit it. I really do love him, but I don’t know if he loves me back.”

Sung jong couldn’t help but feel more hopeful at Myung Soo’s words, because from the first day they met he knew that Myung Soo was more than a hyung for him. He couldn’t help but smile when he said it was a him too.

“Maybe,” said Sung Jong as he hid behind his teddy. “Maybe you should try to confess to him hyung, it wouldn’t hurt to try you know.”

“You really thing I should Sung Jong?” asked Myung Soo amused by the others cute antics.

“I think you should.” was all that was heard from Sung Jong’s mouth.

“I really like you Jongie.” said Myung Soo softly but it was audible enough for Sung Jong to hear. “More than a dongsaeng and more than a friend. I love you Sung Jong.”

“I really like you too hyung.” whispered Sung Jong as he peeked from the top of his bears head, his ears were also red as blood rushed to his face. “More than a hyung.”

Myung Soo smiled at the other as he pulled the teddy bear away from the maknae and then put his lips against the other feeling Sung Jong smile through the kiss, as they broke apart Myung Soo pulled the other closer as he hugged Sung Jong’s thin waist then connected their foreheads together.

“I’m glad I took your advice Jongie.” Myung Soo said to the other then he heard the younger one laugh. “It turns out that the person I like likes me back.”

“I’m glad hyung. Now you and that person would be very happy.” smiled Sung Jong.

“I know we will,” stated Myung Soo as he kissed the other on the forehead, happy that he broke his promise with himself.

I don't really know what i was thinking while typing this chapter (O_O)

I based Myung Soo on myself here, since i hardly fall seriously in love with someone, so my friends come to me to share their sadness or joy in their love life.

But unlike Myung Soo I STILL haven't found my Sung Jong...

I've got no school today AND I'm bored as hell!! so I decided to type =))
