The boy stepped closer to you, taking your hand and placing the toothbrush in between your fingers. Grinning, he brought his hand up to ruffle your hair, “You’re really cute.”

           You stayed quiet, embarrassed to death by your lame, lame, lame outburst.

           “Go brush your teeth…” You could see a smirk surfacing, “Baby.”

           Wordlessly, you dashed for the bathroom, grabbing the bottle of water on the way.

           You did not just say you liked him did you. He probably just thought it was a joke anyway… But… He said he liked you too…

           Shaking your head, you squeezed the toothpaste, looking at your flushed self in the mirror, “Get yourself together.”

           Jungkook watched until your entire back disappeared, the bathroom door closing behind, before he rushed over to his bed and jumped onto it. Bringing a pillow over his face, he let out a manly squeal. 

           Setting his pillow back down, he stared into the distance, face blank before a grin permanently appeared on his face.

           “She… said she really likes me.” He whispered to no one in particular, beaming. 

           Plopping down onto the messy sheets, he stared at the ceiling.

           But maybe she meant it in a platonic way. 

           He furrowed his eyebrows.

           But maybe not.

           He bit his lip from smiling too much at the probability.

           Jungkook stared at his phone, then to the slowly opening bathroom door, a still flushed you walking out.

           Should he really…

           “Noona.” 

           “Huh?” You snapped your gaze away from him before looking back. He hadn’t caught you staring again, did he. “Yeah?”

           He made his way closer to you, placing the back of his hand on your forehead, the other lingering on your shoulder, “Are you feeling better? Your fever’s still gone, so that’s a good thing.”

           “I am.” You blushed, not daring to look back at the very, very intent eyes.

           “Really?” He bent down, meeting your gaze, “Positive?”

           You managed a weak nod, thanking God for not letting your knees buckle.

           “Great!” Jungkook pulled back, that bright smile of his spreading across his face. Hand still on your shoulder and the other grabbing your hand, he asked, “Wanna go get dinner together?”

           “No.”

           Taehyung looked at the bewildered guy in front of him, his arms crossed in amusement.

           “No way, what.” Jimin gaped, leaning his back on the wall head almost hitting the way-to-low toilet sign dangling above him, “So he’s going to do it?”

           “Tonight.” 

           “Tonight?” The shorter almost shouted, mouth still unattractively agape. 

           “You might not want to do that when your girlfriend comes back from the restroom.” Taehyung snickered.

           Jimin felt his cheeks heat up, “Minjung’s not my girlfriend.”

           “Oh, I’m sorry,” Taehyung gave him a drastically apologetic pout, “Your soon-to-be girlfriend.”
