Narrator's POV

Seventeen and Epitome ended their outing well, with a bit of sadness. It was obvious that they didn't want it to end, but they had to get back to practice. The day after was a rest day as well, just a little more relaxation before going full-speed ahead.

"we'll be finding out tomorrow who Aeji wants to collab with" S.Coups announced to the 12 boys. Vi stood by the door of their practice room, knocking even though it was already open

"noona, what are you doing here?" The8 grinned at her

"where are the rest of the noonas?" Mingyu asked

"asleep at the dorm probably" she said

"Viv and I are hanging out today" Woozi said wearing Hoshi's beanie "kaja?"

She nodded, waving bye to the rest of the boys. Hoshi tapped Jun and Wonwoo "you guys wanna hang out today?"

"we always hang out" Jun said innocently

"ani Jun-ah, let's go follow them" Wonwoo said slinging his arm around him

"okay" Jun nodded

"let's go, before we lose them" Hoshi said "I'll keep Yumi posted"

"yah, where are you three going?" S.Coups asked

"out" Hoshi smiled "we'll be back guys"

"don't get caught!" Joshua yelled knowingly as they left

"so genius, where are we going?" Vi asked looking up from her phone. He put his hands in his pockets, eyeing her. She noticed him staring "wae?"

"I'm trying to picture you getting hit with a car because you're always on your phone" he said

"rude" she scoffed "and I'm not alwasy on my phone, I could be practicing right now"

"no you're not" he said taking it from her "I'll give it back to you at the end of the day. Right now, we're going to your favorite coffee place. Afterwards, let's go to the mall and shop"

"you're such a girl" Vi chuckled "shopping? You don't wanna play ball or something?"

"too much work" he shrugged it off "don't you want to buy anything?"

"I actually do" she muttered "okay, let's go"

"ladies choice, where first?" Woozi asked once they arrived at the mall, throwing out his coffee cup

"I need a new swimsuit" she said "you odn't have to help me pick if you don't want to, I'll just meet you like at the food court at-"

"no need, I'll help" he shrugged casually "I don't mind"

"you sure?" Vi asked "no boners just because you're walking in a store full of half- mannequins"

"please. If I get one, it's not because of you" Woozi scoffed

"that's gross" she scrunched up her face "restrain your hormones, will you?"

"they're in Victoria's Secret" Wonwoo said shocked typing it in the chat

"what the hell?" Jun said

"well, let's go" Hoshi said

Woozi was just following her around like a lost puppy, trying not to look at the undergarments around him

"it's literally just clothes" Vi laughed "calm down"

"do you have everything?" he whined "I'm hungry and it's been half an hour"

"I still need to try them on" she said handing him her bag "hold this while I try it on"

"yes master" he sulked waiting by the chairs. After 10 minutes, he received a call "wae? are you done yet?"

"I don't know which to pick" she said before boldly asking "can you help?"

"how am I supposed to do that?" he said flabbergasted

"come outside my door and I'll show you" she shrugged "yah, do this one thing for me, chingu-ya"

Groaning, he stood up and knocked on her fitting room door. She opened it, revealing a fringe bikini "that one's good"

"wait, I have 2 more" she said closing the door. They repeated the process 2 more times, Vi getting the same answer from Woozi "you're seriously no help at all"

"get the last one" he said "it fits you the best"

"arasso, finally something useful" she said giving the other two to one of the workers. She paid and they exited, going to the food court to satisfy Woozi's hunger

"bwoyah, did he go in?" Wonwoo asked

"did he help her pick?" Jun asked

"wow, our little man's got game" Hoshi said proudly "oh myGod, Yumi"

"if Vivi's pregnant, I'm going to kill all of you" Jun read, laughing

"they're going to the food court" Wonwoo noticed

"oh I'm hungry too" Hoshi said

The two of them decided on splitting a pizza and getting bubble teas as their drinks. Woozi paid.

"you didn't have to pay for me you know" she said

"c'mon, I haven't done something for you in a while chingu-ya" he said lightly punching her shoulder

"you lost your favorite hat right?" Vi asked taking a bite of the pizza

He tilted his head "how'd you know?"

"Seungcheol oppa told me" she said

"you and Seungcheol hyung...what were you guys talking about that one night?" Woozi asked cautiously

"it's a secret" she chuckled

"you're pretty close to hyung, aren't you?" he said

"I guess, yeah" Vi nodded "yah, don't worry you you're still #2"

"why am I #2? who's #1?" he said in disbelief

"Chan" she answered "c'mon, he's so cute"

"you're only saying that because he obeys you like a puppy, you're using our maknae as a slave" Woozi accused

Vi crossed her arms "if anyone here is my slave, it's you"

The two of them began eating the pizza in silence, too busy chewing to spark up conversation again. After finishing, Woozi put his hands on the table "I have a question"

"and I probably have an answer" Vi said "what's up?"

"do you like Seungcheol hyung?" Woozi said bluntly "you two talk a lot in private and you guys mess around a lot and I don't know"

"ew no, I don't like oppa" she shook her head "I don't like anyone, we're just close friends. Like you and me you know?"

"okay just making sure" Woozi said doubting her a bit

"let's go to the hat shop, I'll buy you a new one" Vi smiled pulling him up

"you don't have to-"

"let me, you paid for lunch" she said

"this is so good" Hoshi awed at his hot pot

"Jihoon asked if she liked Seungcheol hyung" Wonwoo said coming back with his food

"he's so jealous, that liar" Hoshi said

"where are they going?" Jun asked

"eh molla, let's just eat" Wonwoo asked digging in

"which one do you want?" Vi asked once they entered

"you could just get me something from the department store, this place seems expensive" Woozi said sheepishly

"gwenchana, my parents load my bank account and oppa always gives me allowance so it's okay" she said sneakily taking her phone from his pocket as he was too busy looking at all the hats. Vi hid the phone in her pocket as he came back with two hats

"I really like both of these, but I don't know which one" he said troubled

"get both" she shruggd

"are you kidding?" his eyes widened "do you know how much these cost?"

"yeah, but one is a beanie, the other is a snapback, they're two different hats" she answered reasonably "besides, if you're not using one, I'll take it. Your hat style is similar to mine anyway"

"you're literally the best Viv-ya" Woozi beamed handing her the two hats. They paid once more and exited the store "where do you wanna go now?"

"molla, I sorta wanna go to noraebang" Vi said

"I am so down" Woozi said dragging her away

"jamkamman" Vi said before they exited the mall "I wanna buy Mark oppa something, I'm seeing him Friday and it's been a while. I just wanna give him something"

"well isn't that cute" he said pinching her cheek

"yah, you know I hate that" she whined

"exactly why I'm doing it" Woozi teased, pinching her cheek again "aigoo so cute uri Vivi"

"it sounds so weird when you say that, only the girls call me that" Vi laughed "oh my God, I hate you"

"what did I do?" he crossed his arms as they were looking for some gifts for Mark "igeo, what about a new penny board"

"oh that's good" she said going to where he was at "I hate you for telling the boys my weak spot"

"oh you mean here?" Woozi smirked suddenly tickling behind her knee. She let out a scream, disrupting the people around them. Vi bowed in apology as Woozi tried his best not to burst out in laughter

"Lee Jihoon, I swear to God" Vi growled at him

"you know, for a small girl, you have a big temper" he commented

"only with people I've known for a while, I'm very tolerant around new people" she said

"sure you are" he said picking out a blue and silver penny board "this one"

"I like it" Vi smiled "what about you? You're short too and you're like satan"

"please, I'm an angel" Woozi denied

"angel my " Vi said going to the cash register

"-this penny board is on a couple's sale. Buy one and get another for your boyfriend for 50% off" the cashier said motioning towards Woozi

"a-ah he's not my boyfriend" Vi said "it's alright, just this one"

"that was awkward" Woozi coughed after they exited the store

"just a little bit" she agreed

"well whatever, noraebang?" Woozi asked and she nodded following him out of the mall

"see, we're not crazy" Hoshi said "and we found them again, it's all good"

"even the cashier thought they were dating" Wonwoo said

"Yumi says 'did I not call it? did I not call it? I called it!'" Jun read

"call what? there's nothing to call " Hoshi said

"I'm sorta feeling the noraebang too" Wonwoo confessed

"it's better if we don't though" Jun said "wait...what's noraebang?"

"karaoke" Hoshi said

"oh that sounds fun" Jun smiled

"we'll just have to be discreet about it" Wonwoo said

After arriving at the noraebang place, they started off serious with their singing, but ended up messing around and screaming their heads off

"yah, stop screaming, you'll ruin your vocal cords" Woozi said calming his laughter

"you're the one telling me, you're so loud Jihoon-ah" Vi laughed "besides, I'm not the leader of the vocal unit"

"you screamed more than me" Woozi defended

"okay, let's actually sing something, seriously" she said looking through the songs "hm..I'm doing 15&"

"can you pull off a duet?" he asked

"I can try" she shrugged grabbing the microphone.

"come here" Woozi said waving his hand. Confused, she stepped towards him "closer"

"ah wae?" she whined

"closer" he demanded, his eyes piercing right through hers. He reached out, Vi closing her eyes on instinct. She felt his hand on her eye for a second before pulling away. When she opened her eyes, she was shocked by how close she was to him. They were both flustered for a few seconds, being close enough to feel each other's breath "you had something on your eyelash"

"ah komawo" Vi muttered pulling away. She started the song and began to sing, trying to avoid his eyes while she was still blushing

"they're so ing loud" Wonwoo complained looking through the window

"oh my God!" Hoshi shouted

"kiss" Jun whispered quietly as the three of them witnessed the scene

"excuse me sirs...but you need to leave now that your session is finished" one of the workers said going up to them "and...uh it's sort of prohibited looking at other customers' sessions, especially through the door window and sitting on each other"

"-deh deh we're leaving" Hoshi said outside

Vi stopped singing and met eyes with Woozi, who was thinking the same thing "was that Soonyoung?"

"sounded just like" Woozi nodded standing up

"she stopped singing" Wonwoo informed them

"shoot, Jihoon's coming" Jun said

"and that's our actual cue to leave" Hoshi said running out, the two other '96 boys following quickly after him

Woozi opened the door to reveal the worker "it's not him"

"you have 5 minutes left, sir, miss" the worker said before leaving

"let's do a GOT7 song" Woozi said "for you"

"oh how nice" she said sarcastically "you're singing it"

"I want to, anyway" he said playing Girls Girls Girls. vi crossed her arms, pretending to judge him on his performance. He laughed at her position, but continued nonetheless, singing along to her brother's debut song. Vi was impressed, he nailed it, even some of the dance moves. Woozi's skill and performance always amazed her, even if it wasn't the first time watching him "any thoughts, Vivian Tuan-ssi?"

"Mark oppa rapped it better" Vi said "but good job"

"let's go" Woozi chuckled gathering their things. The two of them thanked the workers before leaving. They began walking back to the practice room, planning to do just a little bit of training. They were talking about nonsensical things, when a motorcycle went over the curb "Viv watch out" Woozi said hastily, pulling her towards him by instinct, potentially saving her from an accident. She crashed into Woozi a bit hard, losing her balance, and breaking her heel. The girl swore at the cyclist in English, before taking off her heel

"dammit" Vi frowned "these were a gift"

"why were you even wearing heels?" he asked

"they're cute, and they give me height" she said "it's like me asking you why you're wearing insoles right now"

"okay, truce" Woozi said taking a look at her heel "that's definitely ruined"

"looks like I'll walk barefoot" Vi said taking off her other shoe

"ani" he chuckled, squatting in front of her "hop on"

"seriously?" she raised her eyebrow "Jihoon-ah, I can walk. Besides, I'm heavy"

"by heavy, you mean like a pillow. You shoess are broken Viv-ya, get on" Woozi said. Knowing he wouldn't back down, she jumped on his back, carrying the shopping bags to make it easier on him "you're seriously so light, I have no idea what you're talking about"

"hey, this way I'm taller than you" Vi grinned

"for the first time" he said and she hit the side of his head "I can drop you right now"

"you wouldn't dare Jihoon-ah" she cooed hugging his neck intentionally doing it a bit tight"

"ow, you're going to choke me" Woozi laughed

"that's the point" Vi joked "go, horsey, the practice room is the enxt block"

The two of them entered the practice room in high spirits, Vi trying to tickle him "-yah, keep doing that and I'll seriously drop you"

"well hello there you two" DK grinned

"welcome back" XiaoMei smirked

"what are you guys doing here?" Vi asked as Woozi let her down

"we were just talking, noona" Seungkwan said

"and talking about making a collab on a performance" Ayana said

"Seventeen and Epitome yo" Vernon said high-fiving Ayana

"what were you guys doing?" Junghan smiled

"we just went to the mall, bought some stuff, and went to the noraebang" Woozi answered "some psycho went over the curb and almost ran Viv over"

"and my heel broke" the girl frowned "which is why he was giving me a piggyback"

"Jihoon oppa's so cool" Lihua said

"thanks" he chuckled ruffling her hair

"what did you buy?" Yumi asked looking through the bags

"two hats for Jihoon, a new swimsuit for me, and a penny board for Mark oppa" Vi said

"nothing for me?" Yumi asked "I'm kidding"

"jamkamman, Soonyoung-ah, did you go to the noraebang today?" Vi asked

"that's right, we swear we heard you outside" Woozi said

"ani, I was here" Hoshi fibbed, putting his arms around Mingyu and Dino

"I'm hungry" S.Coups said "let's have dinner, kids"

"excuse me" Sori crossed her arms

"kids and Sori noona" S.Coups corrected and she smiled at him
