"is it me or are these outfits short and tight?" XiaoMei said pulling on the skirt.
"I personally think they're cute" Vi said twirling around, making the skirt frill along. The girls were currently backstage and dressed in a cheerleading outfit, for their special stage of AOA's Heart Attack.
"you know what I don't get?" Sori asked "why we're doing an idol cover when everyone else is doing a flashback stage like Seventeen's doing Bindatteok Gentlemen, why can't we do like an SES song?"
"oh well, these are still so cute" Yumi agreed high-fiving Vi.
"jamkamman, I'll be back" Vi said checking her phone to see a text from Mark "oppa wants me, and he said to bring Yumi too"
"be back soon" Lihua said as she and Ayana practiced the choreography
"what does Mark oppa want?" Yumi asked as the two of them walked to GOT7's waiting room.
"I don't know, he just said to come to their waiting room pront-oh my God" Vi said opening their door to reveal 14 boys. The two of them stood frozen at the doon "Yumi-ah, is it me or am I seeing BTS standing with GOT7"
"V-Vivi" Yumi squeaked constantly hitting her arm
"ow ow okay! daydream over" Vi whined clutching her arm
"hey Princess, you...look like you're not wearing enough clothes" Mark said greeting her with a hug "annyeong Yumi-ah"
"Mark oppa...why is BTS here?" Yumi asked blankly pointing to them
"ouch, I thought you said they were our fans?" Rap Mon asked Jackson
"I told you girls that they wanted to meet you" Mark said to the two girls. He was immediately jumped on by Vi
"have I ever told you that you're my favorite brother?" she asked
"yeah, but don't tell Joey that" he chuckled patting her back
"guys, this is Mark hyung's sister Vi, and her best friend Yumi" Jr introduced to which BTS did their own greeting
"wow we saw that in person" Yumi mumbled "annyeonghaseyo sunbaenim, Epitome's Yumi imnida"
"annyeonghaseyo Vi imnida" she bowed
"we saw your interview" J-Hope beamed
"ahhh why does everyone keep bringing that up" Vi blushed "probably one of the worst things I've done so far"
"waeyo? we thought it was pretty good" Suga said
"are you sure you're just not being nice, sunbae?" she asked crossing her arms
"yah, I thought you would be more respectful to the boys you fangirl over" Mark chuckled
"sorry, it just came out" Vi muttered. The '96 line were shocked by how easily they were casual around the boys. Both of them expected to be freaking out the whole time, but within 2 minutes of conversation with both BTS and GOT7, they were laughing and joking along. "shoot, Yumi-ah, we need to go back to the waiting room"
"it was nice meeting you noonas" Jungkook smiled making Vi freak out for a second
"sorry, force of habit" she said sheepishly "jamkammanyo, can we take a picture first?"
"sure, we can post it on our twitter" V grinned. So the 16 of them took a picture, then another one with just BTS and the '96 line, then a final one with just Jungkook, Jimin, Yumi, and Vi.
"good luck on your stage" Jimin smiled at the both of them. Yumi smiled back tugging on Vi's arm
"good luck on your stage too, oppa" Vi smiled giving Mark a hug and peck on the cheek as a thank you. The two girls exited GOT7's practice room before excitedly chatting on the way back to theirs, conveniently passing by Seventeen's waiting room to which Vernon just opened the door
"oh hey noonas" he greeted
"nice suit" Yumi said as the two of them were pulled in
"woah" Vi said catching her balance
"jagiya" Hoshi pouted tightly hugging her "I missed you"
"I missed you too" she smiled hugging him back "but Jimin oppa just hugged me so please do not wash his scent away"
"ooh rejected" Seungkwan laughed high-fiving DK
"I think you broke him" Vi chuckled poking his head
"isn't that thing you're wearing too short?" Jeonghan raised his eyebrow
"this thing is a cheerleading uniform, and I think it's cute" she smiled resting her elbow awkardly on Dino's shoulder "your hair is so good blonde, by the way oppa"
"what about my hair?" S.Coups asked
"it's black again" she answered "I'm just kidding, oppa. It's cool too"
"jagiya, I'm sorry" Yumi chuckled grabbing one of Hoshi's hands
"why don't you hold Jimin oppa's hand?" Hoshi grumbled sitting down on the couch. Yumi rolled her eyes and sat next to him, lifting one of her legs on top of his.
With a sigh, she linked arms with his before resting her chin on his shoulder "Soonyoung-ah, we've been over this. You know I love you right?"
"I know" he nodded
"besides, Jimin oppa won't look nearly as good as you do in that suit" Yumi whispered in his ear, making him tense
"okay kids now before you guys get ual, please get a room" Vi called "oh yeah, Sori unnie's texting me. Yumi-ah, kaja?"
"I love you" Yumi said again before kissing his cheek "let's go Vivi"

"where were you?" Sori scolded
"GOT7's waiting room" Vi said "meeting BTS"
"wait, are you serious?" Minji asked and the two nodded
"did you lose your ?" XiaoMei asked
"surprisingly? no" Vi said
"we also went to Seventeen's waiting room for a good 3 minutes" Yumi said
"and that one had to calm her jealous boyfriend" Vi said
"I miss Seungcheol" XiaoMei blurted, her eyes widening after she said "never tell him I said that"
"aigoo, unnie" Ayana said "we all know that you're tough and all, but c'mon you're head over heels for Seungcheol oppa"
"shut up" XiaoMei muttered
"Epitome, standbye"
The 7 of them made their way backstage, attaching their mics, and saying some final words of encouragement before making their way to the actual stage, waiting for the start of Heart Attack

"wow it's hot" Lihua said wiping her sweat
"hey look" Minji said "Seventeen oppa-deul"
"shoot Seungcheol looks good" XiaoMei muttered getting nudges from the rest of the girls
"aw Soonyoung" Yumi smiled at her boyfriend
" " Vi cursed as Woozi's part came on "nope, I'm not watching anymore"
"wae unnie?" Ayana asked
"because Jihoon looks really good in suspenders and nope I can't be feeling this" Vi said getting her headphones and playing a BTS song

"surprise surprise!" Mingyu yelled as Seventeen visited Epitome's waiting room.
"jagiya, you did great" Yumi squealed jumping on Hoshi
"hey babe" S.Coups grinned slinging his arm around XiaoMei who slightly turned red
"yah, you're sweaty" she complained shrugging his arm off
"wasn't it just a few minutes ago that you said Seungcheol oppa looked really good?" Ayana asked to which XiaoMei sent a death glare
"you're dead" Vernon chuckled nudging her
"sleep with your eyes open tonight, Ayana" XiaoMei gritted her teeth. S.Coups only chuckled and sneaked a kiss on her cheek
"if it helps, I think you look really good too" he whispered in her ear
"is Viv okay?" Jun asked curiously noticing how she was sitting alone on the couch, eyes glued to her phone
"yeah" Yumi said
"unnie started watching BTS because she didn't wanna focus on Jiho-"
"ahaha" Sori awkwardly laughed covering Minji's mouth as the room suddenly filled with awkward tension "you guys did great, by the way"
"you noonas too" Dino smiled
"we started dancing with you" Seungkwan laughed
"you know" Wonwoo whispered suddenly "Viv's changed a lot"
"well I mean, of course" Yumi shrugged
"wouldn't you feel weird every time you see the guy you still like even after a breakup?" Lihua suddenly blurted
"aish, you girls" XiaoMei facepalmed
"what?" Woozi spoke up
"honestly, oppa" Lihua sighed looking at him "can't you tell? unnie still likes you"
"Mai Lihua, seriously, shut your mouth. It's not our business to get into Vivi's love life" XiaoMei scolded in Chinese before leaning against S.Coups
"girls" Sori said sternly shaking her head "mianhe Jihoon-ah, I know we're all close, but you don't have to tell us anything anymore about what happened between you and Vivi. It's between you two and we all understand that, right girls?"
"deh" "right" "yeah..."
"wait, can I ask one more question?" Minji asked quietly raising her hand "Jihoon oppa...do you still like Vivi unnie?"
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom" Vi said pulling out her earbuds, leaving the room with a blank expression. Yumi sighed and checked her phone which she left behind
"was she listening?" Joshua asked
"the music was on mute" Yumi nodded "I'm getting tired of this"
"what do you mean, noona?" The8 asked
"this is ridiculous. You know how close us '96 line is, I can't help but want to cry every time Jihoon and Vivi are in the same room" Yumi crossed her arms
"hey I didn't want us to end up like this too, neither one of us did" Woozi defended himself
"no, I want to cry because both of you obviously still have feelings for each other, yet you avoid and ignore without any closure" she said "Jihoon-ah, I'm not stupid, none of us, I know you still like her."
"so what if I do? so what if she does too? that doesn't change the fact that we both want to focus on our careers" Woozi said "it's pointless Yumi, we tried being friends for a couple days, but it hurt too much"
"but if we're in relationships, why can't you?" Hoshi said
"guys, I support your relationships, you guys are great together and I'd protect you guys no matter what, but again. Me and Viv just want to focus on our careers, we don't want a distraction" Woozi said
"that's literally what she said to me" Yumi muttered
"can't you guys just talk to clarify things?" Wonwoo asked "I feel like there are things you haven't said to each other"
"it would hurt too much" Woozi said "we're better just focusing on whatever we're doing. It numbs the pain"
"guys, that's enough" S.Coups crossed his arms
"I just want the '96 line to be okay" Yumi whispered
"it'll take time" Jun said as DK patted Woozi's back

Vi walked around the building for a bit, trying to forget everything she just heard. As if by coincidence, she ran into Aeji
"watch where you're going will you?" she scoffed. Rolling her eyes, Vi only shoved past her, not in the mood for a fight "didn't you hear me? or are you deaf?"
"listen, I'm gonna pretend that we didn't just run into each other" Vi said harshly "I have a lot on my mind and I don't need you to add to it"
"wow such manners" Aeji crossed her arms with a smirk "I heard about you and Jihoon oppa. I knew you two wouldn't last. Such a shame he even picked you over me"
Vi heaved out a sigh and turned her back
"I mean of course, why would he like a talentless who got ? You're probably teeming with STD's, how's that feather situation going-"
"shut the up before I damage that plastic that you call a nose" Vi growled her collar
"I'm not scared of you" Aeji challenged ignoring the English that came out of as she didn't even understand a word of it
"you really should be" Vi said giving her a hard punch to the face, feeling no remorse at all
"woah" Rap Monster said stopping Vi "come with us before you get in trouble"
"did you see all that?" she sighed feeling her anger die down as they pulled her in an empty waiting room
"Vi-ssi, we don't really know much about you" Jin said carefully "but something's obviously wrong"
"I don't like her" Vi crossed her arms "she pushed my buttons and I punched her nose job"
"Mark hyung told us how when you were really down, you listened to our songs and you felt better" J-Hope said as she nodded
"there is a part of my life that I desperately want to forget. I've been a big fan ever since you guys debuted, I know all your dances, your music just cheers me up" Vi said "I don't know how, but that knows about my most scarring experience and she uses it to torment me, she did just now"
"we're not gonna ask" Suga said "but I'm sorry"
"she also brought up my ex boyfriend and I wanted to slit " Vi grumbled
"ah" Jimin nodded "who?"
"Seventeen, Woozi" she said "he was my closest guy friend ever since I started training, we tried dating, but my brother said how a relationship would only burden our careers even though there's a number of us who are in relationships, including my brother with my group's leader. Both of us realized that we wanted to prioritize our careers and we broke up. It's hell considering how I can't talk to him or even look at him without my heart shattering into pieces"
"I'm sorry, noona" Jungkook frowned
"I really hope that things work out for you, Vi" V said putting a hand on her shoulder
"nice punch, by the way" Rap Mon commented making her let out a laugh
"we should dance sometime" J-Hope suggested "maybe it'll help you feel better"
"I'd love to" she nodded "thank you for talking to me, I should go back to my group"
"before you go" Suga said "I wanna thank you for being such an avid fan, it means a lot knowing how our music cheers you up. I hope you'll still confide in us when you're upset, and we wish the best for you"
"thank you, sunbae" Vi said
"sunbae? I think we're close enough for you to just refer to us as oppa" Rap Mon said "we had a meaningful talk!"
"I'll keep it in mind" she nodded with a grateful smile before going back to her own waiting room.
