I quickly whip my gun out from it's holster and point it at the figure, without a moment of thought I push Lay away and fire. 

The bang of the gun makes the entire room erupt into screams, people start running out like everything was ablaze. My ears are still ringing from the shot, but I look beside me and see Lay looking at me with his mouth agape.

"You might want to shut that..." I press under his chin and close his mouth, he then looks to where I shot.

"Why did you fire?"

I frown and look at him "Really? Did all those screams make you forget?" I hand him the gun, facing away "He was going to shoot, I saw him"

"Who?"

I shrug, rubbing my neck "I don't know what he looked lik e but he was trained on you!" 

"We best go look then..." 

He grabs my hand and pulls me up the stairs, I'm dreading seeing a dead body. My heart races faster as we get on the balcony overlooking the dance floor, I close my eyes tight not wanting to see. 

"Lay wait...."

"What? It's only round this corner.."

"Exactly I feel sick"

"Dont be so silly" He pecks me on the cheek "Afterall you did save me again" 

Smiling now we both turn the corner, but that smile soon vanishes, slowly turning into a deep sick sadness. 

I run to the body and grip at it's clothes, crying into it's chest, my cries turn to screams as Lay tries to move me away.
