Just from hearing the bang i get a sense that i have to protect him, i let my body twist around after calling his name in a panic. Letting my body catch whatever comes towards it,  after all...if this was a gun shot,  Lay would die from such a deep cut not the bullet itself...

After the ringing fades from my ears, i begin to feel very lightheaded,  a sudden screaming pain surging from my stomach. Before i know what is happening i collapse onto the floor, i hear Lay calling my name "Sayuri stay with me!" my fading vision can only just make out the intense red colour that stains his shirt and hands, i let out a scream as the pain makes its way through my dull senses.

That's my blood isn't it! Oh god...i got shot...before i can blank out completely Lay begins to talk to me urgently "An ambulance is coming,  Sayuri keep your eyes on me!" 

I hear i siren in the distance, i feel his hands exerting all their pressure onto my stomach. 

"Sayuri...please don't leave me..." I see a tear roll down his face, this in return tears my heart in two. A man like Lay...a strong man crying before my eyes...and theres nothing i can do but lie here in agony. My body refuses to respond to any of my requests, i can't even lift my hand to comfort him...all i can do is let out whimpers of pain, just making it worse.

I see three medics rush into the room, thats when i knew it was okay to let go,  i would wake up and see him again...hopefully...

As i closed my eyes to rest i feel him gripping my hand tight and now screaming my name, i wished i would of made my eyes stay open...but it's too late.

I awake to what sounds like supposed 'quiet' conversation beside my bed, my eyes flutter open to see the culprets who disturbed my sleep...wait ive been out a whole day?...

A man stands their in a white coat, blue shirt and a clip board in one hand, i suspect he is the doctor.
