Jieqiong wouldn't consider herself close to Minkyung. They meet the first time through a mutual friend, Yebin, and they don't even remember each other's names after the party. The next time they meet, coincidentally sitting side by side in a modern history class, they gaze upon one another with widened eyes and parted lips of recognition. That's when they actually learn each other's names and when their friendship truly begins to develop. They share lecture notes, study together for the exams, work together on their essays, and sometimes even have lunch together (when Yebin is there). After the semester ends, they don't attend the same classes, so they don't talk as much as they used to. It's a pity, because Jieqiong knows how nice and funny Minkyung is. She definitely seems like a reliable person as well. She'd make a wonderful friend, if they were closer. But sadly, they are not.

Jieqiong was never really close to Minkyung, but when she happens to see the taller girl lying in a bright yellow hammock resembling a giant banana, she finds herself asking her something that should only be allowed between close friends. (To be fair though, she's had classes all day and it was somewhat of an understatement to say that she was tired.)

"You look really comfortable..." Jieqiong remarks as she stares at Minkyung's long body stretched out cozily along the hammock. She set it up right in the middle of the campus park where anyone passing by could see her and possibly disturb her, but she probably couldn't care less. The trees provided excellent shade and the cool breeze perfected the environment. It was practically the best place to take a nap. "Can I still take you up on that offer?"
