That's the very first thing Cheng Xiao notices about the blonde stretching across from her. Ever since she had laid her curious eyes on it, her attention has been wholly captivated by the silver barbell jewelry gleaming at her from the other woman's toned abdomen. Why is it so mesmerizing? This definitely isn't the first time she has caught glimpse of the blond beauty herself, as she's spotted her countless times around the law school before, but she figures that these are different circumstances, thus requiring different attire that Cheng Xiao isn't accustomed to seeing - especially not on this woman, who she'd observed to have closely followed the school's dress code guidelines. Her usual ensemble consisting of a formal blouse, knee-length skirt, and low heels have been replaced by a form-fitting sports bra, running tights, and athletic sneakers. Cheng Xiao wouldn't have cared for the change if it wasn't so distracting (because activewear seems to have been tailored just for the blonde, and that navel piercing seriously doesn't help).

At all, Cheng Xiao murmurs under her breath as she finally manages to tear her gaze away from the enchanting woman. She continues stretching her own legs in preparation for the 5K run she's about to embark on with everyone else present, who are associated with the law school in one way or another. She looks around and realizes there weren't many people willing to sacrifice their Saturday to exhaust themselves for some obscure fundraiser. It's a plus for her; she doubts that there'll be anyone getting in her way as she quietly runs along the somewhat narrow path of the university's main campus. That is, until she feels a gentle tap on her shoulder and turns around only for her knees to significantly weaken at the sight of the blonde before her.

"Hey." The woman greets with an irresistable smile. She's so much more gorgeous up close, and it's so much easier for Cheng Xiao to restrict her gaze to her wonderful face (and not wander down to her oh-so-fascinating navel piercing). "Do you want to run together?"

Cheng Xiao eventually finds herself jogging alongside the blonde she'd been staring at some time ago, whose name she learns to be Jiyeon. Just as she'd suspected, Jiyeon is a fellow law student at the university but a year above Cheng Xiao's first. As they casually converse with one another, most of the other participants pass them, but Cheng Xiao doesn't care for it; not anymore. Not when she's finally speaking to the girl of her dreams - although the woman didn't hold such a personal, highly regarded position before - the more Cheng Xiao learns about her, the more ideal she seems. Rose-tinted spectacles or not, Jiyeon is certainly an admirable and charming woman.
