Jongho "I've got one word for you: sing-along!"
DrabblesTheir eyes met over the group of kindergarteners sitting between them on the brightly colored rug. Jonghyun smiled wide before pulling his guitar into his lap. “I’ve got one word for you: sing-along!”
The kids cheered as Jonghyun ran his fingers over the strings softly. He flashed a small smile over at his boyfriend and fellow teacher, and Minho knew what that meant. It was his turn to sing. It wasn’t as if Minho hated singing the daily sing-along song, just that he believed he never was as good as Jonghyun. He still moved to sit next to him, to lean his head against his knee as he played and softly began to sing.
Today was Old McDonald. After a few words the kids joined along. Loud, happy, cheerful, as they sang their little hearts out. Jonghyun wasn’t looking at their his students, but at his boyfriend that people thankfully had no idea the exactly context of their relationship.
The expression on Minho’s face was soft, but one he rarely ever got to see. They kept playing until the end, until a little girl raised her hand and asked if Mr. Kim and Choi would be up to singing another.
They shared a look and Minho smiled as he nodded his head. Jonghyun’s fingers started to work up a barney song, and it took the younger man a moment to recognize it before beginning to see.
To Jonghyun it was the most beautiful sound in the world.
