Ahra POV

When I woke up in the morning, I look over to my side. The bed was cold and empty… which only meant Kris was probably out for a run and was doing his morning exercise as usual. I shouldn’t be sad as he always gone in the morning, but somehow I felt weird as if something was inside turning my stomach. I pushed myself off the bed and started to get ready for the day.

I quickly changed into comfy home clothes and headed to the washroom. I washed my face and tied my hair up in a bun. When I walk back into my bedroom, I notice the mess. Clothes ripped from yesterday's love making. I walked around picking up the clothes and tossing into the laundry bin.  I made the bed and then went downstairs to the kitchen to make Kris breakfast.

As I got food out of the fridge, I thought about myself. I’m acting like a total housewife. I shook my head and starting grinning like an idiot. “Kris, and I will probably get married one day. I will be carrying our child while I cook and clean our home” I spoke out loud as if someone could hear me. I remembered the conversation Kris and me so many nights ago. Kris wants a family and he wants to have it with me. I couldn’t help but smile that was almost like his proposed.

I was so distracted I didn’t hear my phone ring. It was Suho calling, I pick up the call “Hey the doctors wants to run some test today, can you come before noon” Suho said. His voice sounded tired . . . There was a long pause before I told him I would be there in an hour or two. Suho said, “Great can’t wait to see you” I can picture him smiling on the other side of the phone. I look at the time and thought about Kris, he is usually home by this time. I left Kris breakfast out on the table as I went back to the bedroom.

I wash up by taking a shower and then got some appropriate clothes on. I waited on the couch, for Kris to come back home. When he Kris was still not home, I decided to give him a call it went straight to voicemail “Hey Kris umm… Well, I’m going to the hospital to get some test done. Meet me at the hospital whenever you can” I sighed deeply.

I then remember Kris did have another meeting with the bank today. Maybe that is why he is not back maybe he just went to the bank. I got my keys and my handbag and headed out the door. After I lock the door, I was surprised to be greeted by Kris kissing me on the lips. “I am so sorry,” Kris said. He was panting trying to catch his breath. I notice him all sweaty and red as if he ran a marathon.

“It’s okay, just go back inside and change quickly. Suho and Jessica are waiting for us at the hospital” I unlock the door. Kris brows lowered, and he bit down on his lip, I knew he was thinking about something deeply “Kris, go” I push him inside. I waited at the door until Kris came back down with clean clothes.

As we walk to the bus, Kris still had the same frown on his face when I said Suho and Jessica are waiting for us at the hospital. I couldn’t help but think what is he thinking about? “Ahra are you sure you want to go through with this” Kris asked me.

We had the talk about this for hours, he agreed. But Kris asking again meant he didn’t want it as well. I stop walking and turn to face Kris “Kris what’s wrong the other day you were perfectly fine with it?” I reached out for Kris’s hand, stepping closer “Suho and Jessica want a child… I am willing to carry it for them after that we get our money. Kris, you get to open your company, and I finally get to go to school. If you worry about me and Suho relationship, don’t be. I love you and after this we have no ties with them. Remember Jessica’s rule?”

Kris smiled leaning into me, his soft lips brush against my lips. I pulled away burying my face in Kris' chest and hugging him tight “God, I love you, but this is going to be hard” Kris said. I knew Kris did not Suho being around me, but it was only going to be for a short amount of time.
