Another day has passed. The room still remained motionless as it was two days ago.

No movement. Even the slightest bit.

Nothing.

All that can be heard, was the sound of the machine, that beeps at the sound of every heartbeat.

That's all there is.

Yet, the slightest sound of sobs can be heard, somewhere not far from where Tiffany laid.

Siwon sat there, at his usual spot, holding onto Tiffany's ice cold hands. Tears escaping his closely shut eyes.

"I'm here again. Why don't you try opening your eyes and greet me back?"

"I want to see your eyes. Those eyes that seems to see the innermost part of me. Those eyes that make me realize that nothing would ever go wrong, that everything will be alright as long as there is hope. Those eyes that see the beauty that no one else can see. Those eyes that sees only me. Those eyes.."

He choked on a sob. He can't bear to talk without sounding so hurt.

"Those eyes that smile even for a person like me. A person who doesn't deserve someone as wonderful as you."

Every word makes it too difficult for him to speak. To breath. 

"I just wished you'd wake up, look at me in the eyes and say "I'm back." That's all I ask. Even if you tell me that you hate me for not wanting to hear your explaination - an explaination you would have said if only i've listened, then i'll take it. Just please, wake up."

The quiet sobs turned into cries.

A cry filled with so much anguish, longing, and repentance.

An hour passed, and all that can be heard was the sound of the machine that beeps, as the heart continues to beat.

A heart that beats not only for herself, but to that one person who is giving her the reason to live.
