THREE YEARS AGO

Siwon's eye has never shed a tear since his mother's corpse was brought to the chapel. He just sat there, quietly mourning for his mother's death. She was in an accident 3 days ago, and didn't survive. Siwon must have finished all his tears during that time when the doctor announced that she didn't make it.

At the day of the burial, Siwon still didn't shed a single tear. He waited for all the people to leave. All those time, Tiffany has always been with him.

"You can lean on my shoulder, remember?" she slowly pulled Siwon's head to lay it on her shoulder.

In a fraction of a second, Siwon cried his heart out as Tiffany silently cried with him.

They stayed like that for an hour. Siwon's crying turning into sobs and sniffs, and died down.

"Thank you for always being with me. I don't know what I would have done if not because of you." Siwon kissed her deeply, a sign of his love and gratitude.

"You're always welcome, you know that. I'll stand by your side through whatever come what may. I promise I will never leave you, no matter what."

"A promise is a promise okay? Never leave me, no matter what. I'd be in too much pain if one day I wake up, and you're not by my side anymore."

Then they kissed. A sign that a promise has been made, forever to be kept.

END OF FLASHBACK

"That was the reason why I left Siwon a year ago. I know I was selfish, thinking only of myself. I thought that if I leave, I won't be hurting him. But looking back at things now, I've realized that I left because I was afraid he'd reject me. I was afraid that he won't love me anymore. "

She started to cry that it was difficult for her to breath. 

All they could do was listen to her sobs, and comfort her with the silence of the sunset.
